To help those reading this thread wondering if the need to purchase tickets right away or not, I would add this:

From my experience, usually Halloween night sells out first. There is typically a post in at his thread that calls out when dates are sold out. So if you are on the fence about going or if you want to wait, you should watch this thread for postings about sell out dates and buy accordingly.

If you know that you want to go on Halloween night, I would purchase as soon as you are able.

For those wondering about the sell out nights, I report them as they occur. So if you look at the news archive for the party, you can see when each date sells out.

Following that link we see that in 2014, tickets went on sale 5/5/2014 and the first sold out night was indeed Halloween, that announcement was posted on 8/4/2014. While it took 3 months to sell out in 2014, that is not a clear indicator of when it might sell out this year.

Thanks for the link. Wow, ~10% increase in price each of the past 2 years. I guess they'll see how high it goes before people stop coming.

The vilain stage show was one of the highlights for me, I'm curious what its replacement will be.

Some sort of premium package where you get to sit on the stage and sing along with Dr. Facilier, I'm sure.

Have a question regarding which date to choose as this is the first time attending MNSSHP. Trying to decide between 10/29 and 11/01. I was thinking 11/01 might have lighter crowds as it is after Halloween. Anyone have any experience going after Halloween?

It looks like it' going to be an awesome show, but it also looks like it's probably going to replace Villains Mix n' Mingle (considering it's on the same stage), which I'll miss. But, it'll be nice to have something new

Sounds very exciting! I grew up watching Hocus Pocus every Halloween season! One of my favorite Disney films!

Not likely. Disney wouldn't know how to make a Hocus Pocus 2 without giving it a $200 million dollar budget

I'm going in September this year. Is this worth the money. I do have an 8 and 5 year old but we usally hit the parks in the morning and pools at night. Everytime we have stayed late, it ended in disaster.

My friend and I went as Sarah and Mary Sanderson last year. We had a blast!

I'm going on 9/15, our first night at WDW! I'm excited, as I've never been to WDW for a special event, except for F&G festival, which just happens by chance every year.

I would have LOVED to have seen the Villains show, as it looked cool on the Vlogs that I watch. That's ok though, the whole party will be new to me!
