Yeah I posted on that in another thread. Can't wait to watch him and the US against his Caps teammate Ovechkin and Russia Saturday morning.
That was sad. It took real courage to skate knowing that one bad fall could paralyze him due to the spinal rod operation. It was sad to see Evgeni Plushenko withdraw from the men's figure skating competition yesterday. He was truly one of the best figure skaters ever, but his sports injuries over the years finally caught up with him. However, at least he was able to win the gold medal in the new, "team" event a few days ago.
The field is wide open now, and it will be interesting to see who will be the next skating star, since Evgeni 's career is over.
I'm pretty sure every shot of him during the Olympics looks like this....
He is just still sad that the Hunger Games cannot be an actual Olympic event. Why do you think every country was led out by an Effie Trinket clone during the opening ceremony?I'm pretty sure every shot of him during the Olympics looks like this....![]()
Jaromir Jagr (42) must be the oldest Olympian this time around. He won two Stanley Cups during the George H.W. Bush administration, before a lot of other Olympians were even born.
