Oh, I love that outfit, especially the honeycomb bracelet.

I'm very excited about going to Dapper Day. (Save the date- 9/21 everyone who is interested) I just got a new vest from the clearance rack at Dillard's- charcoal grey with wide navy trim! A navy tie and charcoal pants, my black bowler hat, shine up my dress shoes, and I'm all set. Just gotta decide what color shirt to wear. I'd love to go with a pure white linen, but I know that would only look nice for a short time while wandering the park, so I'm thinking lavender or baby blue.
Maybe go with white, that would like nice and complement all your colors in a seamless (pun intended) fashion (pun intended again)

Thank you for the puns and the vote- I agree, white is the most classic looking.

Love your sig line BTW. Hogwarts is my home as well, although a '67 Chevy Impala is my preferred mode of transport. ;)

They're actually debuting a new ride and parade next year and the best promotion Disney may come up with is "do it yourself"?

Was the term "Festival of Fantasy" too hard to market?

It's a festival of fantasy!
Oh wait we already have that.

You know what annual promotion I would really like?

No annual promotion.

Bingo! I hate that they feel compelled to come up with something every year. When every year is special, none of them are!

That being said, If they HAVE to do something every year then this doesn't seem that bad to me. If I don't like the current promotion, then I just ignore it. Hopefully there won't be a lot of ugly signage messing up the parks.

Oh, and, yet again, they're playing on (and preying on) nostalgia.

I can't believe they've been doing it since 1955!

with all the hate on LTM... at least it's offering SOMETHING. Certainly better than simply a advertising campaign that means nothing more than new banners/signs. LTM - a good concept marred by horrible execution

There have been flashes of brilliant execution with Limited Time Magic. Its a shame that something with so much potential and a few cool events will be go down as Year of a Million Treats.

On my last trip in May I guess I saw "Disneybounding" in action when I ran into a girl and guy dressed like Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. They weren't in licensed costumes, but you could tell who they were trying to be. I thought it was very odd at the time, but apparently this is a "thing", and now this "thing" is going to be next years promotion? This just makes me feel old- "kids these days.." :p

I don't know if I'd sully the name of Disneybounding by associating it with whatever this is. For those who still don't understand Disneybounding (did you even actually go to the Tumblr page?), it takes normal clothing and creates an outfit that conjures an image of a particular character, but doesn't in any way attempt to actually resemble that character. The outfits are usually nice looking and/or trendy. It's like attire for Dapper Days, but with an actual Disney motif.

Since it requires dressing nicely, I can't imagine that it would ever fly with the general public or Disney, unless TWDC plans to release its own line of patently obvious "Disney Side" clothing that consists of ill-fitting t-shirts with fake Mickey Mouse tuxes printed on them.
