Limited time magic would have been better if you didn't find out the Friday before what the next promo was. There have been a few that I thought were neat but it's not like I'm going to drop everything to go spur of the moment because of LTM.

I wish they would bring back the free birthday or the give a day get a disney day.

:eek:Good God, "Dinosaurs", "Muppets", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"...is that a DISNEY commercial? Looks more like Six Flags or pre-Potter Universal. :hungover:

But they did have new parades, nighttime entertainment and rooms from $85..... Now there is a promotion! :) and you didn't have to book your rides in advance!

Limited Time Magic could have been a good idea with more effort. They could have done a lot more of the things like Touring Everest and other attractions in ways we havn't seen. Maybe riding Space Mt. with the lights on......offer some things that can't be done regularly for the average joe. There is a lot of possibility there, but it would have taken serious planning and logistics and probably extra hours......which I don't think they want to invest in these ideas.....which is too bad.

Youre right. There are tons of people like me that have no desire to see a rare character but would love to be able to have a special ride through with an imagineer..

One Little Spark...
I'd take that in a heartbeat over this promo
Me too. An ad that actually gives you reasons to want to visit? That delves into the value and range of experiences available? With a call to action?

Wow!

The Disney Side ads are cute (some of them), but really don't make we want to visit a park. They are fine for brand recognition, but as park advertisements, I think they fall a bit flat.

I can agree with that. In my opinion most of the Disney parks ads recently don't envoke the feel of the parks at all. The same way the Christmas parade broadcast seems to have lost its charm. They used to do all these skits that were really funny or at least, like the opening of splash mountain's "No Water" Fiasco, and a few years ago they had a mickey mouse basketball game or something, and tower of terror had stuff other than the merry Christmas and a happy new year before dropping thing.

Yes Disney I will show my Disney side.. my back side walking off property to go down the street to Uni. And I would be happy to take a pic and submit it too.

Our first trip ever to WDW was in the early 90s, Be our guest promo. Put our service to the test.. yea. Don't think that is happening again.

Just IMAGINE the fun that can be had with hashtags, Pic's of dead bulbs, critters, mold in Monorails, Disgusting light fixtures.

Methinks this hashtag 'disneybounding' has endless possibilities for chaos...

What's weird about this is that it sort implies the burden is on the park-goer rather than on Disney. It's not up them them to entertain us - it's up to us to show them we are worthy of being entertained by them. We have to find and show our "Disney Side." Blech.

Oh, and, yet again, they're playing on (and preying on) nostalgia.
In that case, they should be paying US, instead of the other way around.

There were a handful of WDWmod weeks, I just cant see an upside here...maybe this appeals DD DS DH DW crowd....

Can we have this promo again?

This promo knocked my socks off as a kid and made me want to go back to WDW more than anything WDW has done since.

It is pure genius. The pent up desire to finally take a WDW vacation again the next year was overflowing. My next trip took 7 years. This commercial in my head countless times.

I still cant get over the price of the rooms.. I know the information is easily available but I cannot bring myself to look up the price of a park hopper.
