Stage height is a constant problem at the Hoopla. Is was terrible at the Star Tours stage, and unfortunately not much better at the new stage. It really is the case that anyone who is not on the front row has a very restricted view. I would like to see it moved to the Indy stage. I think it would play well there.

I was surprised at how short the line was for the Chipmunks, especially considering they were new and compared to the lines for Chewbacca, Darth, and the Fab Four. And mercifully, it was in a shaded area. They are super cute and very fun to interact with. I don't typically do the meet and greets for SWW, but I couldn't pass them up - they're definitely worth seeing if you have the extra time.

Lets keep in mind that is a 30-45 minute line for Chip-woks vs 1-2 hours for Chewbacca/Vader. Vader/Chewie needs to be a rope-drop thing.

Your mileage may vary of course but thats what I saw Friday.

Is it too high or too low? I haven't watched it yet. Or the crowd placement in relation to the show?

It is not high enough. Anyone further back than the front row has a hard time seeing. Then factor in that kids then go on top of shoulders, and you have an even bigger problem.
That makes sense now. At first I was like, well, why would that be a problem, but then I realized if the stage is at waist height, somebody in the back would have a hard time seeing over the guy in front that is 6'0''.

Honestly we waited 10 minutes for the Chip Woks, and 15 minutes for Vader ... the longest lines I saw were for Minnie with R2-MK, and Chewbacca ... I think it all depended on when you hit them, the Darth Mall Merchandise line was 3 hours at rope drop, but at about 3pm, it took me a half hour to get inside.

If they could make the indy stage work that would be great, but they would loose an attraction for 3 days, and at the afternoon show I saw the place was near capacity. What about the fantasmic stage instead?

I saw people camped out as early as 5:30 and thats dedication, because their was no shade and that sun was hot.

Was going to say, I happen to know some of the CMs PhotoDave alluded to were there from like 5.

I suppose Indy could work--I go in there so rarely I can't remember how big it is. Premier Theater would almost certainly be too small. I'm not saying this show would fill the Fantasmic theater, but I think it would fill a pretty big chunk of it, especially on Saturdays. Whatever they do, they need better sightlines.

Well. I reported a Friday line of Vader being 1-2 hours & Chip-woks being 45.

Jano said Sunday was 15 minutes for Vader.

So Im thinking late Sunday afternoon might be shorter but not this holiday weekend....
Thanks :) I'm going this weekend so we'll just have to play it by ear I suppose.

Anyone know what days the awesome 501 is marching in the parade?
