I did notice that, but you're right. I wonder how much this actually deters people.
I am guessing not at all if there are people out there willing to pay 2-3 times the face value for these items. A good number of the people selling the LE items on Ebay are not fans of the franchises. They simply know what will sell and have the time to wait in line to get it. IMHO, Disney putting a buying limit of 2 items per guest is the most they can do.

Unfortunately I have to agree with you there.

So tonight's gripe during the Hoopla was the egregious amount of off-duty entertainment cast all the way in the front of the stage blocking everyone's view with cameraphones, ipads, etc and being generally obnoxious to guests.

Managers were spoken to. People were pointed out.

I guess instead of blacking out Cast IDs for the 24 hour event, maybe they should have blacked out SWW instead?

Not sure they were all Entertainment.

I will say, while I'm no fan of the Hoopla (other than the Emperor), it seems big enough that it might be time to think about moving it to the Fantasmic theater, making a real blockbuster show out of it. Friday night, even the crowd along the side stretched back past Brown Derby. Yeah it's a lot of CMs, but there's also a ton of kids who really couldn't see anything. Even yesterday, pretty much in the middle of the courtyard, if you were 5'6" or under I don't think you could see the Jawas or the Ewok.

Fantasmic theater would be great, but Indy or the Premiere Theater might be a little more practical. There is no question that something needs to change. That many people on level ground makes for a crappy guest experience. Hard to believe that this was originally done on the Jedi training stage.

I wish they'd just move it to the Indy theater. Then everyone could have a chance to see, and best of all, sit down. I haven't seen the show yet this year (I was only there in the morning-early afternoon yesterday) but in past years it is almost impossible to see unless you're in the front row or 7 ft tall. My husband is 6'3" and can barely see - especially when the kids go up on parents' shoulders and the iPads come out. Getting there early doesn't seem to help much, and people push their way in right before it starts. I'm glad they moved it from the Star Tours stage, but the hat stage isn't the best either, with the ground sloping down and the stage not being up high enough to see all of the action.

Went yesterday and got there right when the rain started. Spent the rest of the evening but bailed before the hoopla.

Where are the jawas? I wanted a picture and couldnt find them. C3PO was great because I never knew he talked. Great character interactions. The merch was kinda crappy and after seeing those action figures with your face on them I was unconvinced. Would have paid the 100 but they feel weird and the detail wasn't as great. Ray Park has developed quite a belly but was nice while he walked around with his family.

Overall fun with the exception of the horrible humidity and crowds werent too awful.

The Jawas roam on San Francisco street and back towards Clone Wars M&G area. They are elusive.

The stage needs to be a few feet higher if its going to remain where it is. It was frustrating.

I didn't stay at DHS for long on Saturday, but it was successful. I got there at 7:10 and was able to ride RNRC and Star Tours, but the merchandise line was a pain in the . Thank God I'm not buying any more SWW stuff.

I was surprised at how short the line was for the Chipmunks, especially considering they were new and compared to the lines for Chewbacca, Darth, and the Fab Four. And mercifully, it was in a shaded area. They are super cute and very fun to interact with. I don't typically do the meet and greets for SWW, but I couldn't pass them up - they're definitely worth seeing if you have the extra time.

I passed by them and they had a short line, but I'll get them in two weeks.
