Thoughts on these names? Outbound's is already decided but Gables Village (The House of Seven Gables, also many of the houses in Salem/Sleepy Hollow have gables). Back Bay in Boston is the name of an actual historical section so just adjusted it to fit our layout.

Harbortown U.S.A. is divided into three districts

States Market - the town center for trade, shopping, and dining.
Gables Village - Inspired by haunting tales of New England folklore.
Back Bay Square - a quaint historical section featuring Hamilton and other various cultural locales.

One thing to discuss is - train or no train?

With our duel entrance format I'm curious what you all think about how to handle the train.

This was my solution to the train, an above ground one way transit to another section of the park.

I think that could be very cool. And the classic train loop around the park has been proven to be more of a detriment than a benefit long term.

I'm still partial to a boat transport. But that raised trolley looks cool too and could easily fit in Boston, sci-fi, and toon aesthetics meaning it would be able to smoothly cross half the park without even needing to be super hidden away

So by boat transport are you meaning from one side of the town to the other or around the park?

Looks incredible!!

Well, we have the regular trolley for the town itself, right?

I meant the boat as a train substitute. Whether that is a whole loop or just one specific route back and forth. Heck, a boat in a river could be simple enough and easy enough to bridge over it could even cut right through the park instead of around if we wanted. Though that Electric Railway raised trolley thing you shared a video of would have the same benefits of being unique and able to fit into multiple lands and being easier to work around as the park expands.

In theory we have a trolley but that was just an idea for added atmosphere. I wouldn't mind seeing the boat for transport within the park but based on our layout we've have to cut a river in between a section of the park in order for it to make sense.

That would give us an opportunity for a photospot on a bridge with the lighthouse in the background, or the castle.

The MIT bridge in Boston is an example of a picture spot - our river wouldn't be as big as this but the same principle would apply

What's funny about this bridge (it's called the Harvard bridge even though it goes to MIT, don't ask why) but it's measured in 'Smoots'

We could have a fun easter egg at the end of the bridge where our bridge is 14 smoots or something

Smoots are EXACTLY the kind of small detail that makes Disney parks amazing!! That would be perfect lol

This bridge could make a great "entry" for the East side! Instead of going under a train station, you go over a 14 Smoot long bridge!
