You mean the costume she wore in 90% of the film?

How much of PatF does she wear this outfit?
You changed the goal posts from "seeing a princess in a sparkly dress" to "seeing a princess as she mostly appeared in the movie."

By that regard, you're advocating for Tiana to be in frog form in her M&Gs.

That doesn’t mean you have to have to agree with every thing they do…then go outside and chase the mailman after you go #2
As my posting history shows, I certainly don’t agree with everything they do.

I love dogs, so your insult works out to a compliment.

And again, your mudslinging is meaningless given that you continue to give Disney more of your time and money than I could hope to.

A quick glance at the reservation system shows that there really isn't any availability (at least for breakfast- didn't check dinner), so people are willing to reserve this without knowing the price. I'm assuming this initial wave is lifestylers and vloggers.

If Tiana is gonna be how she is, and Mirabel is considered a new dining character along with her fun dress, then I (just) wonder what will Aladdin appear as.... Street rat? Or Prince Ali, he should be dressed like the ending of Aladdin or Fancy Grand Floridian Prince robe!

I understand they're trying to promote the Tiana's Bayou retheming of Splash, but putting aside the bizarre melange of characters that will be at 1900 Park Fare (ironically celebrating the power of a wish, because literally nobody wished to see this grouping!), why on earth are they having Tiana appear in her "bayou adventure" costume?

Every other character (even Aladdin) gets to appear in lavish or royal outfits (or at least, attractive ones, e.g., Mirabel), and in comparison, Princess Tiana will look like she just got off a double shift skippering a Jungle Cruise boat. No magic, no fantasy, no glamor, and no relationship whatsoever to her actual wish of owning a restaurant (e.g., something that could be better suggested if she was dressed in the sultry white flapper dress she wears when fantasizing about her restaurant in the movie, or the elegant green gown she wears when her restaurant is shown in the final scene.)

Any way you slice it, this roster, and that insulting snoozer of a costume, are a giant lost opportunity.

Seems strange to have Tiana in her Bayou Adventure outfit before the ride opens.

It's Prince Ali.

I have a huge Aladdin fan in my family and that's the only thing vaguely tempting about the new character lineup, but our experiences with Aladdin performers have always been a letdown. We don't want to take a risk for that just to get another guy who just recounts the film and barely looks at you.

I believe it’s already been announced that he’ll be appearing in his royal costume.

aww, I am exactly the same way, looking forward to Aladdin, as I think we all know what to expect from Mirabel and Tiana. I am so so sorry to hear that none of your Aladdin experiences were of something special. I've had really awkward moments meeting Rapunzel.

We'll wait to see a YouTube video on this.. so far my kids are voting for Chef Mickey's even though we have Garden Grill and H&V planned, so plenty of times to see Mickey.

Something that has been bothering me is what logic is the character selection in a faux copy of the
Hotel del Coronado. At least put your thematic characters from the Victorian Age in like Mary Poppins, Bert, the penguin waiters, and maybe the Wonderland characters.
