Ahead of the 1900 Park Fare reopening tomorrow, Disney has shared several photos from inside the restaurant.

Here are a few:

The framed mirrors designed to look like arched windows are new, right? They actually do a lot to brighten the space, and they balance out Big Bertha a bit, which previously felt like it was swimming in a sea of tatty wallpaper. The bench seats are also a better utilization of the space than the merry-go-round pedestals. Even if the broader fairytale theme is a bit off for the resort, the bones of the space at least look a lot better.

What exactly is the theme now? Just... Disney cartoons? Eef.
I believe they said it's supposed to relate to wishes, hence the artwork. You have Snow White at the wishing well, Geppetto and Tiana wishing upon stars, Aladdin rubbing the lamp, Belle singing about wishing for more than a provincial life, the Fairy Godmother appearing to Cinderella, Aurora meeting the man she saw once upon a dream, etc.

How exactly does that tie into the resort as a whole?

No
I'll wait until I see this site's deep dive before making a final judgment call but the decor does look like a nice step up, at least from what I can recall from my one and only time there in 2017.

Disney IP in a Disney resort? Say it ain't so!

Ooh, fun! I love when we pretend that a resort designed, built and operated by Disney for some reason needs Disney cartoon characters added to it to be considered "Disney."

How exactly was the resort not "Disney" before? Beyond that, can you explain to me how these specific Disney IPs fit within the theme of the resort? Or is the theme of the resort "Disney cartoon characters who make wishes" now?
