7 Up Gold? lol wow, never heard of that one. They need to quit messing with pops. It's turning into an all out pop war now. Let's see, there's Cherry Coke and Wild Cherry Pepsi, There's Pepsi Twist and hmm, They've got some Coke with Lemon in it too but i can't remember it. Pepsi is doing all these "color" things now, they Have Green Mountain Dew, Red Code Red, Blue stuff now.....lol man, we run out of flavors yet? hehe

yea, i saw a commercial fro pepsi blue. i didn't know what to think of it. they tried stuff like this a few years ago with Crystal Pepsi, and Their Citrus version of Crystal Pepsi. hmm

Here's a little trick to avoid having a soft drink explode in your face ever again. Antime you open a carbonated beverage, twist the cap just enough to break the seal and then stop. If you see the drink rush to the surface and hear a loud hiss, then the contents were under pressure and you just saved yourself a faceful of Dr. Pepper. Once the hissing stops, untwist the cap completely and enjoy as normal.

(It's the Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah tip for today.)

They should bring back Crystal Pepsi and market it to people who just had their teeth whitened. Seriously. Cherry 7-Up rocks the nation. Vanilla Coke hits you with way too much vanilla taste up front followed by a "normal" Coke taste. Same with Blue Pepsi, which hits you with a bugglebum er bubblegum-like taste up front. And the concept of "blue" as a flavor reminds me of that Simpons episode from the first season: "What flavor Squishee did you get?" "Blue!"

Anyone out there remember "Mello Yellow"? That was out for a while (I'm guessing '80's) from Coke. Recently they had "Citra" which, I think, was the same thing. They also have something very similar in Ice station cool (but I can't remember the country).

I also second the Captain Morgan and Coke endorsement. I'm gonna have to try some of Rob's concoctions, too. I've been wondering how to integrate Vanilla Coke into getting smashed since it first came out.
