Rose and Crown is one of the places you can get a Fantasmic package at right? If so how exactly does that work?

Rose & Crown is at Epcot and wasn't on the Fantasmic package list last time I looked. I liked eating there, though.

The last time I booked a Fantasmic dinner, you could choose from Mama Melrose's, Hollywood & Vine buffet and Brown Derby (think that's right). If you're going to be there during the summer, and with fewer Fantasmic performances scheduled, I definitely would do a dinner package.

And, by the way, to the OP - eat as many times as you like at Le Cellier, if you're lucky enough to get the ressies. It's my fave restaurant I've tried so far.

FWI, Brown Derby is a 2 credit

As for crazy repeating dinner plans, you would not get many issues from a WDW fansite, everyone is a bit crazy :ROFLOL:

Last trip we did the Fantasmic dinner package at Mama Melrose. It is covered by the dining plan, but interestingly when you do the Fantasmic package, you get an appetizer. I liked the food, but have heard some mixed reviews.

With the Fantasmic package, you get a ticket that you take to the entrance (used to use a back entrance, but I think I heard you go in the main entrance now). You then get seats in a reserved area off to the right of the stage.

I think it was worth it when we used it, and with the limited number of shows now, it might be a good idea to try. Restaurants that you can get the package are Mama Melrose, Hollywood & Vine & Brown Derby. (Brown Derby uses 2 dining plan credits.)

Crazy? Nooooooooooooo. :lookaroun

I'm already using my Disney princess calendar, which I bought strictly for vacation planning, to write down restaurant choices and other stuff for the summer trip. It's pretty bad. :D

It's your vacation (and you dollars) so if it makes you happy then go for it.

Me, I would not do it. In fact I have a hard time bringing myself to eat at LeCelliar ONCE on a trip, let alone three times. But if it's to your liking, then go for it.

March 28th was my 180 day mark...:brick:

Nuts?. . . Only those who skip Le Cellier altogether!

I love Le Cellier! It is definately my top choice. And where I could eat it twice in one week easily, I would be inclined to go to Le Chef de France at least once before I committed to 3 Le Celliers. I know the Escargot is not part of the dining plan anymore, but I just gotta have it.

Now if they started serving escargot over at Le Cellier, then I could do 3 in a week. Do French Canadians eat escargot? If they don't, they should.

No, we are at Le Cellier twice last time and are planning on it this time. Actually, my husband wants to eat there 3 times. I may give in seeing we wouldn't be the only ones. I never tire of the bread or desserts.

I had my first lunch there last week. I shocked myself by going with the Le Cellier experience rather than the steak. I can't believe I hadn't tried the chicken and chipotle sausage before. I had always had the cheddar cheese soup. To me, that sausage is the best thing on the menu (if you like spicy).

I don't see a problem with it - I would do the biergarten every day if I could get away with it.

I always put at least 1 new place per trip though.

Is it two credits for Mama Melrose? I thought it was at one point.

Am I crazy to try this? Yes its personal preference I know. Le Celier is probably my fav place to eat.

My taste is weird. This is what Im gunning for

1. 50's Prime Time
2. Liberty Tree Tavern
3, 4, 5.Le Celier
6. Ohana
7. Chef Mickeys
8. Sci Fi
9. Coral Reef
10. Teppan Edo

Those are really my ONLY must have dinners. MAYBE a Fantasmic Show, but who knows? I have tried plenty of the resteraunts, and those are pretty much my top choices.

Do any of you guys do this? Just bombard yourself with your fav or variety?

Stick with your fave if that is what you want! We just struggled with this - make a 2nd at Le Cell or try something new. We ended up choosing something new. But I say, do what you want! The question remains...do you get the same thing each time?
