DAK “Zootopia” is being created for the Tree of Life theater

What was developed has been known for some time. There is no evidence to support the idea that it might have taken a very dramatic turn in its conceptualization.

Maybe, maybe not. I don't think its a far stretch to think that they could have gone from potentially talking dragons and such to other sentient animals more akin to Zootopia. But guess we'll never really know from that perspective.

Anyways this is happening so we're going to be there anyways.

Surely there are other IPs that would fit better in Animal Kingdom than Indiana Jones and Encanto, if we HAD to use an IP or two.

Here’s my opinion this project should have started happening in 2022 and should have had an up ride instead of encanto it would have been a better fit for animal kingdom and would have filled the same family ride role in the parks lineup but encanto is what’s happening and I’m still very excited to see a great movie get its own ride!

I'm sure many monocles would fall into dole whips as the artists faint and gasps since i'm the first person to ever comment its always been profit driven.

This is the opening scene of Zootopia. In it, that Zootopia is set in a parallel world without humans, where animals have evolved to become sentient and created a society. We know the 3D show going to Animal Kingdom is focusing on biomes. If the shows follows the angle of teaching us about animals and different biomes through the lens of "how they used to be" (AKA real animals), it should be a fine compromise to get Zootopia into AK

Mission Breakout currently sits at a 4.5/5 on touring plans. Can you give us any insight on how this compares to the DCA TOT ratings?

(Yes the zootopia thread has devolved into ToT vs GotG:MB debate)

DHS ToT gets a 4.6, but I don't think it's fair to use that

DCA TOT was 4.35 all-time across all age groups when it closed in 2017.

My sense with the switch to GotG is that Disney was also trying to untangle its IP from CBS' Twilight Zone. So they got a more popular attraction with less outside IP.
