Eh…. *Looks at mission breakout* not always. If Joe rode was on board I would be okay with almost anything including Zootopia. Talk about being able to make lemonade out of lemons.

Mission breakout is another good example of him making lemonade out of lemons. He certainly wouldn't have down Mission BO. And certainly wouldn't have planned to have him leading both projects at the same time. To open the same exact day on opposite sides of the country.
It is so sad what Disney did to Rohde. I don't blame him for walking away.
I'd say okay example, as the ride could have been terrible, and instead it is just mediocre and a downgrade.Mission breakout is another good example of him making lemonade out of lemons.
I honestly think it’s worst sin is ruining the skyline. the inside at least looks better online than that version of tower of terrorI'd say okay example, as the ride could have been terrible, and instead it is just mediocre and a downgrade.
Calling @lentestaI'd say okay example, as the ride could have been terrible, and instead it is just mediocre and a downgrade.
I was just in Paris and loved the enhancements for that version of the tower. it was pretty close to perfect.I honestly think it’s worst sin is ruining the skyline. the inside at least looks better online than that version of tower of terror
Hard disagree on Soul, Luca (to a lesser extent), and Cars 3, but yeah Turning Red is good. IMO Soul is Pixar's most emotionally-impactful film they've done yet. It's beautiful, unique, and I love itWow, just looking back a little bit I would put Turning Red over Finding Dory, Luca, Soul, Lightyear. Looking back further I would put it above Toy Story 4, Cars 2, Cars 3, and The Good Dinosaur.
The inside looks terrible, specifically the boiler room. It's just a bunch of junk in a boiler room with a giant boiler obscured by a chain link fence. Just like they would have in a futuristic space exhibit.I honestly think it’s worst sin is ruining the skyline. the inside at least looks better online than that version of tower of terror
As for popularity, I know the rides' wait times are about the same as what they were with TOT, even with higher attendance numbers at DCA. I only go on it when the wait is 30 minutes or less. DCA's TOT, I used to wait 75 minutes without issue. a great attraction turned into a messy okay attraction. That's life giving you lemons and turning it into homemade Sprite.Calling @lentesta
Mission Breakout currently sits at a 4.5/5 on touring plans. Can you give us any insight on how this compares to the DCA TOT ratings?
(Yes the zootopia thread has devolved into ToT vs GotG:MB debate)
DHS ToT gets a 4.6, but I don't think it's fair to use that
Super hot take but cars 2 is my favorite cars movie.Hard disagree on Soul, Luca (to a lesser extent), and Cars 3, but yeah Turning Red is good. IMO Soul is Pixar's most emotionally-impactful film they've done yet. It's beautiful, unique, and I love it
Theming aside, this is my main issue. Pandora stylistically *fits* AK’s vibe by still being lush and natural looking. A Zootopia city would not have.If they were to put a zootopia land based on the movie into AK, it would stick out just as bad as C&H's did.
Zootopia would have stuck out?Theming aside, this is my main issue. Pandora stylistically *fits* AK’s vibe by still being lush and natural looking. A Zootopia city would not have.
I will say it again if it doesn’t close I’ll eat my fedora. So 2ish weeks left to go before the closure.
Any bets on the walls not going up as one of our Greystoke loving posters claimed?![]()
Not to mention that it doesn't exactly look good either.Yes? Neither of those are egregious or stick out in the context of the park -- certainly not compared to something like this:

I disagree I think the Zootopia land in Shanghai looks great. it just doesn’t belong in animal kingdom. Not to mention that it doesn't exactly look good either.
It's colorful but not good. The street decor is fine but the building facades are terrible!I disagree I think the Zootopia land in Shanghai looks great. it just doesn’t belong in animal kingdom.
Oh look. The same reason why Encanto doesn't fit in Animal Kingdom.Animals aren't the focus of the film... the story really isn't about animals but 1 group of humans
Zootopia at least has the "going savage" thing to allow some characters to act like animals. Sing doesn't even have that.Sing is an even better example (if only it were a Disney IP). Sing would fit in Animal Kingdom about as well as Zootopia; they're very similar.
I liked Luca and Cars 3 too. I also liked Incredibles 2, Lightyear, and Elemental. Make of that what you will.Hard disagree on Luca (to a lesser extent), and Cars 3
NO JUST NO.EDIT: I like using Robin Hood as an example, but Sing is an even better example (if only it were a Disney IP). Sing would fit in Animal Kingdom about as well as Zootopia; they're very similar.
