Still a bit too fluid for more.
This is one of many threads I could post in, but it certainly seems from posts coming from yourself, @PREMiERdrum @yensidtlaw1969 @Henry Mystic @JustInTime et al and being quite open about things, a lot must be far along and signed-off on that it's fine to be hinted at and spoken about.

I've been around here a long time, and certainly haven't seen this 'openness' in quite some time.

I've not seen so many big projects to be announced close together either.

TURBOCHARGE! Surprised Joffrey’s isn’t selling “Bob’s Turbocharged Vanilla Latte”

We're at a very interesting confluence of timelines here.

The resort has been subject to both under investment and mis-investment for nearly two decades. Iger's "Blue Ocean" strategy has proven to be a failure. Years of trading fewer onsite guests for higher cost per guest have crashed the hotel business, with ancillary damage to the convention, group events, and food services arms. Formidable competition just up the road, for the first time with the prospect of a legit weeklong resort experience.

Even with all that, TWDC leadership needed TWO major external factors to push them to this:

- A real, honest threat against their control of the company, and
- An "excuse" to move forward with site investment, afforded by the negotiated settlement with the state government.

In any event... much of these plans are still in flux, though the lion's share of it is funded and - generally speaking - plots and properties have been settled.

Buckle up.

I'm cautiously encouraged by what I've heard since Vaughn's return. There is a LOT of young talent starting to come through, and the company is making honest efforts to support and grow them.
I was coming to say the exact same thing. I think most people will be impressed with this group of imagineers. They might be lacking some of the star power names but Bruce has been cultivating a great group from what I’ve heard/seen. They finally have the budgets and the will at executive level to show off their skills.

Based off of snooping around, Zooptopia Land seems like it would be on the table as the most likely land to take over that section.

If it is, that's fine, but it would need more than one attraction. DHS is in desperate need of "more things to do" moreso than needing another headliner.

Edit: I'd prefer Cars Land if they are going to clone an entire land from somewhere else

If Iger of all people actually will deliver on what might shape up to be the long needed and long teased decade of major expansion of the Florida Project I’ll buy whatever ego fulfilling thing he wants me to.

Zootopia would seem to fit better physically (particularly in terms of sightlines), unless they change the configuration of the Cars Land rockwork a lot (which also seems plausible). But Cars Land’s rockwork might also be a bit too similar aesthetically to that of Galaxy’s Edge (but maybe they don’t care).
