    What should star tours become?

Don't change what isn't broke. Star Tours is a great ride with the ability to constantly update the experience to keep up with new stories. Now I wouldn't argue a new next-gen simulator experience in a lightyear or natgeo spin somewhere else in the park.

Starcruiser: What do you think it'll be used for in 5 years?

I personally feel conceptually the starcruiser is an incredible and ground breaking idea. BUT in reality I can't see it ever being successful in it's current itineration. I have very little hope people are going to feel fully immersed staring at screens all day... or spending an hour learning to...

    Kungaloosh!!!

The only concern there is parking. It's a trek from boardwalk's lot to the dance hall or jellyrolls. While I love the location for theming and the building space... its logistically really tough.

    Dole Whip

I REALLY like pineapple juice, It's my drink of choice at dinner on the cruises. So I've been a fan of dole whip well before the hype and it's always been my go to snack in the park. It's also dairy free, which is a big perk for me. But not everyone loves pineapple. They also have orange, lime...

    Kungaloosh!!!

With the talks of a S.E.A. tv series coming out of Destination D23 and the small references in Jungle Cruise I could see Disney trying to monetize an in-parks Cinematic Universe very soon. I just hope we see quality and not just $$$ grabs.

All rides in Hollywood Studios closed for technical difficulties (7/12/18)

So after the whole fiasco of earlier, as a kind gesture, Disney began handing out frozen minute- made-lemonades by the Cart full! By the time fireworks were about to start I had been offered at least 4 cups!!!

In line for slinky dog, it’s up and running again.

All rides in Hollywood Studios closed for technical difficulties (7/12/18)

Currently at HS, got here right before everything started going down. Still holding out hope things will reopen (have a Aliens fastpass after 8) I guess ill be spending sometime at the Baseline Taphouse... their beer still seems to be cold

Do you ever try to 'mix things up' when you visit Disney?

I grew up less than an hour from orlando, and my family still visits multiple times throughout the year, every year. We are constantly trying to find new experiences and ways to explore WDW. Park hopping happens almost every visit with a few rides in one park and dinner at another. We'll often...

When your parent (or any parent) ruins an experience for you

I feel so bad for some of your stories... I was really fortunate and my parents have always been great... They only have one running pet peeve which still irks me to this day. My family is notorious for sleeping in, and then my parents always have some work to do (my father is always on the...

    Favorite food no longer sold

The ham and slaw sandwich from Columbia Harbor House.... It was fresh, light and delicious, quite the departure from standard theme park fare... However i do enjoy their lobster roll they offer now.

    Craft/local/unique beer offerings

Keep an eye out for Cigar City brewing, their Cigar city IPA is one of my favorite beers and i've seen it around disney world. Also i've found tampa brewing company in AK and they've got a couple good brews. In EPCOT in the american adventure pavilion is a booth with solid craft brews that...

    Formal Night

As already mentioned, don't worry about the PG13 rating on burn the floor, it really is just dancing. Rock of ages on the breakaway is a bit extreme for children, but a genuinely hilarious show... but closer to an R rating for sure. As for the Spa questions, i do have a friend who is still the...

    Formal Night

Honest answer, the casino on the getaway is probably the ships largest flaw. It's on deck 7, between decks 6, and 8 with a large atrium and staircase running through the center of it... so the smoke smell may float into the areas around it, however I myself in 3 months on board never noticed it...

    Formal Night

I used to work on the getaway, do not miss "Burn the floor" it is phenomenal, don't feel overly compelled to see "Legally Blonde" it's cute, but also just meh. The illusionarium show is worth the upcharge. The ship is actually very nice, lots of great venues and bars, the casino is so so. any...

Do you still feel a loyalty to Disney?

I have an undying loyalty to Disney and their entire brand, regardless of some of their missteps over the years. However, I've always loved the competition too, I'm a huge fan of the Universal parks as well as Busch gardens and seaworld. I also rant and rave about DCL, but will often tell...

    Formal Night

I think i mentioned this earlier in the thread, but my two cents again. The ONLY reason I dress up for formal night is to get pictures with the characters in their formal attire.

    Formal Night

NCL's Bigger ships suck when it comes to service... They're older ships (the jewel and gem) are ideal for service and entertainment. That line has truly lost it's way and started putting profits ahead of guest experience.
