Liberty Tree Tavern closing in July for near 5 month refurbishment.

We are coming to Disney from Nov 13-22. LTT is one of our favorites and we love going there. I know it is supposed to reopen on Nov 20, but has anyone heard or seen anything about it? Just wondering since I have not heard it mentioned anywhere for a long time. Cannot make reservations as of yet...

    The Spirited Back Nine ...

I think I paid $11.00 for a Gray Goose lemonade slushie-type thing when I was at Epcot last. It was really good but lasted all of 2 minutes because it was 100 degrees. Prices are insane IMHO but I still pay them for whatever reason.

    The Spirited Back Nine ...

So my 8 year old is a Disney World fanatic. Part of the reason we usually go once a year or so. He is only 8, but EPCOT is his second fav park behind MK. He loves the usual rides, TT, Soarin, etc. But surprisingly, he enjoys the "brainy" aspects of the park even more. He loves Ellen's Energy...

I would give my left arm for WDW to create something new that is on the level with the HM. That ride is amazing and I never get tired of it. Visually stunning and immersive, without being a minute long and not using screens. I know that will never happen, but one can dream.

    The Spirited Back Nine ...

Transformers got your adrenaline pumping for a bit, and then you started realizing that you really had no clue what was happening. By the end, I was like wow, that was fast-paced! Now can someone tell me what I just experienced?

    The Spirited Back Nine ...

Well at least it will be the first time we see it, and now that you downplayed it, Ill probably enjoy it more. I would much rather someone tell me something isnt that great and then love it, than have someone tell me its the greatest thing youll ever experience and then wander around looking for...

    The Spirited Back Nine ...

The Mummy is in my opinion the best ride at UNI, with FJ the best at IoA. They should really make more rides like the Mummy rather than making you wear glasses for everything. Although the one stop makes you think your head is gonna shoot off and roll for about a mile or so.

Im a huge Lebron fan, but he looked out of sorts last night. Too much going on for him to focus on basketball.

    The Spirited Back Nine ...

Just booked my vacation for next year. Nov 13-16 at the Hard Rock at UNI and Nov 16-22 at the Polynesian. Never stayed there before so hopefully its a good resort. Here's to praying that the parks are not a huge mess, or at least that the Christmas decor will be up to cover any issues. We as a...

    The Spirited Back Nine ...

I agree. I think Despicable Me is a fun ride. Shrek not so much.

    The Spirited Back Nine ...

I thought there was way too much sitting and watching a screen. The ride portions were fun, but they were too few. I did think the projections and screens were simply amazing, however, I was hoping for more of a ride than a movie. FJ is my favorite ride anywhere, so I was probably just hoping...

There is nothing better than logging in here after being away for a while and finding a new thread by Spirit. These are the only threads I put any faith in. So thanks for all the info you supply to us. Having said that, does it make anyone else sad to know that DHS will be so barren for the next...

    The Spirited Seventh Heaven ...

So I wasnt sure where to put this, so if it doesnt fit into the discussion, please ignore it. But I just returned from a 10 day vacation at WDW and UNI and thought I would share my 2 cents on some of the things I did and noticed.... Magic Bands were nearly flawless. Made the trip insanely...

New Be Our Guest lunch line procedure (Test?)

Agree. All of this nonsense is annoying, but BOG is ridiculously amazing from a decor standpoint. Love to go there just for the ambience.

New Be Our Guest lunch line procedure (Test?)

I received an email asking if we wanted BOG lunch reservations for our trip in less than 2 weeks. Went through the process online and received a time of 11:30-12:00. Pretty surprising considering how short of a time it is before I get there. I am bypassing it, however, because we already have...

New Be Our Guest lunch line procedure (Test?)

Ill be at MK in 13 days. Will be glad to report anything I see or hear while there. Should be interesting to see the reactions. Thankfully I got dinner reservations there 180 days out.

New Be Our Guest lunch line procedure (Test?)

I can't imagine how anyone can think that there is any other reason for this other than the execs wanting people in the stores and spending money as much as possible rather than standing in a line with their wallets in their back pockets. It is about as obvious as anything can be. Get the people...

    New Return Procedure at Soarin'

So we are going in UNI and WDW in less than 2 weeks. For one of our Epcot days, we selected morning FP+ for Soarin' and Mission Space and a mid-afternoon FP+ for Maelstrom for when we are tipsy and at the back of the park drinking and shopping. Picked Soarin' as a FP+ because the queue is so...

    The Spirited Seventh Heaven ...

You could question me, sometimes I may speak in falsehoods and I need to be called out ha ha. But in this case I still think I was right. Maybe we are all getting lucky and Disney is actually lowering prices at certain places. I guess it could have been the heat getting to me though.

I swear the bone-in ribeye was 64 a while back. They much have just lowered the price or im still hallucinating from the mushrooms back when I was young. Sorry!
