We just got back, it was originally supposed to be dropped a few days before our trip, but then got extended.
Disney's indoor masking stopped the day we left, so sad it wasn't sooner.
I think mask mandates need to go, but if you want to wear one, go for it for now. Eventually I think they should be banned though, as only those that are actively sick should be wearing it and if you are actively sick, you should stay home.
It will be hard for them to do so, it is enacting a strict limit of two per person, we will find out if the limit resets tomorrow, but they are saying it shouldn't. It is really two per person.
They have more than that. We commented thst it was Rise of Figment, ad it looked like Figment versions of the clones from Rise of the Resistance, only there were more Figments than Clones.
The mobile ordering helps with this, two per person and the system won't allow more. They have also in recent months been tracking down duplicate accounts and making people merge them.
I think Disney will wait until til the 15th when California's mask mandate expires, they have repeatedly shown they want consistency in the rules on both coasts whenever possible.l, so they go with the strictest.
I think people who are complaining need to suck it up and understand what the CMs do to make the magic for us guests and that their dedication should be rewarded. Seriously Disney could close MK at 4:30 PM once a month and I think it still would be fine.
As a local, I can tell you that Los Angeles is actually huge, but not as big as most people think. Anaheim is not Los Angeles. Long Beach is not Los Angeles, Pasadena is not Los Angelese, but right next to it is as some examples. Then there are cities like Torrance that have parts that are...
Can anyone adequately explain why Knott's Berry Farm out here in California can have direct contact with the characters, but no Disney park can? I mean seriously, Disneyland is just down the street, there is no reason it needs to be different. It is way past time to bring back traditional meet...
Honestly, we never should have freaked out in the first place with COVID, but we need to abandon these vaccine requirements, all it is doing is creating a black market where people are buying fake documentation, which in the long run will make the problems worse, not better.
I think you are confusing things, it isn't Knott's that has had questionable practices during the entire pandemic, they have made sure they have taken care of their employees (keeping several employed even when the park was completely closed) and their guests alike. They also followed through...
The hard part is the union, the other could be done, but they won't do it, because Orange County, CA has almost the same attitude towards mandates as Florida does, granted not quite as bad as them, but close.
The Vaccine requirements for restaurants, etc. are only for LA City, not LA county. There is one ine place for the county for nightclubs, bars and a few other venues, but not restaurants...
There are actually bathrooms behind a false wall that have been there since day one. Originally they wanted the theater to have free shows during the day time and at night there would be a separate entrance from what was then the Timon lot for separately ticketed full length Broadway style...
They can't just comply, it would be too complicated, some of Disneyland unions are ousting back against vaccine mandates for cast members. And can you imagine the complications of checking everyone that wanted to go to the show for proof of vaccination? Mask requirements are tricky to deal with...
