Almost time to pick my ADR's, plead help me chose

Epcot in my opinion offers the best table service meals as far as parks go. But in our recent Spring Break trip, we visited monorail hotels and really enjoyed Ohana's and 1900 Park Fare.

Can't swing the Poly, so where do we stay?

I actually haven't stayed at any of those 3 options, so take this with a grain of salt. If it's just you and DH, I would tend to stay clear of POP because values tend to be rowdy and only have food courts. I've heard complaints about Coronado Springs due to it's size and convention center...

    Short notice trip???

Yes, we took a last minute trip in December of 2007. Since that's a good time of year, we were able to get several of the ARD reservations we wanted. It was actually a refreshing trip to book one week and show up the next. I'm an uber-dooper planner and let go of it all and just had fun. I...

    Costume help please for MNSSHP?

Yes, Incredibles I have a girlfriend who's family dressed up as the Incredibles one year. Decorated red t-shirts with Incredibles symbol and then they painted black masks on their faces. Very cute. When we went last October, Pirates was a common theme.

    Trip T-Shirts

We used Disney's Zazzle vendor last October to do family t-shirts and were unimpressed with the quality. I see wonderful t-shirts every time we go. Are there online companies people use? Or are most preparing their own graphics and then using a local business? We often go during holidays and/or...

    December 2009 countdown and celebration

Dec 2-8th @ ASMu Family Suites We were lucky to go during Spring Break (Poly) and are going back early December. Our oldest will be celebrating her 7th birthday. We can't wait! First time at the Family Suites, not quite the Poly but still should be a great time.

    Injury on Disney Property

Broke a finger My daughter broker her thumb closing the heavy bathroom doors at the Poly this Spring Break. We called the front desk to help contact an emergent care facility which came to pick us up. It didn't keep her down though she couldn't swim. But they never called to check up or...

Anyone need a 10% off an annual pass card?

Silly question Have a silly question about the terms. We're going in December, but are planning on getting APs for the family (4). Is there a difference between buying them before the June/July date but then waiting to activate them in December? We're obviously not going to be at DW before...

Which the best Long House at the Polynesian?

Tahiti for us We just stayed in the Tahiti bldg in March and loved it. We appreciated being close to TTC. It was also quiet except for the family right next to us who were raised in a barn. :)

    Needing Annual Passes Advice

Hi there Our family will be in DW this December 2009 (6 nights), and then will be back in October 2010 (6 or 7 nights). I'm considering an Annual Pass, seems that it will save us around $300. But we won't be able to visit again before it expires and we won't be staying longer due to pulling...

NEW Dining options with 2.5 year old

We had a Grand Gathering last October with a couple of toddlers plus adults, and we enjoyed Liberty Tree Tavern. It's not a character meal anymore, but it was a nice traditional Thanksgiving like meal and the toddlers ate well.

    Tips for packing light!

Not sure that I'm great at weeding out things. I'm more into organization of things. Here are just a few suggestions. 1) take a pop-up laundry bin to keep the hotel room cleaner 2) I also took last time a fold up car organizer. It was great to have the kids throw their shoes in, and I...

    Birthday trip!!

Have some info for your questions. Here's Q&A on the What will you Celebrate: http://allears.net/tp/celebrate.htm Here's what Touring Plans shows for crowd level, and they're not doing the Pirate and Princess Parties. My columns got messed up but this should help...

Are any ADR's 180 days out?

ARDs I like the idea of being flexible, but it's pretty hard these days. Not sure when you're going. I don't recommend Walk-Ins, especiallly if you have young ones. I would say to at least book the restaurants that your family loves the most and wouldn't want to leave without visiting...

Need your advice and help on my dining lineup!

DHS choice We've eaten at Mama Melrose's the past two times we've been, and we're just not sold on it. We haven't done 50's Prime Time or Sci-Fi because they never get great reports on food. With the little one, would you consider Hollywood & Vine Character breakfast? We've got 3 kids under...

    How many breakfast ADR's?

Usually 2-3 We've got 3 kids ages 6 and under, so we definitely like character breakfasts. Our favorite due to the selection is Crystal Palace. We just did Ohana during a Spring Break trip, but my kids didn't enjoy the family style. We did have a character dinner at 1900 Park Fare that was...

Eat and play free 3 &up

Special Pin We got a postcard in the mail last week with that promotion. It's tied to the individuals it's sent to with a pin number. It only went through the summer and wasn't as good of a deal for us as the fall free dining plan. Sorry I don't have the dates and details any longer.

    2 thrill seakers .... with a 10 month old

There's a similar thread out right now titled Diapers. Here are the suggestions I gave them. Hey there I've traveled 3 times now with babies/toddlers. 1) I found that taking a thermos with us was very helpful for having warm water on hand for formula bottles. There's only one baby center per...

    Diapers

Hey there I've traveled 3 times now with babies/toddlers. 1) I found that taking a thermos with us was very helpful for having warm water on hand for formula bottles. There's only one baby center per park, and we never wanted to hike to the entrance where they're located to get hot water...
