The footage was actually changed as well when they switched narrators, in the original version Michael Eisner was seen in person at the Studio. When Julie Andrews took over it become a voice over only.

From the videos it looks like a nice update, I will miss the arrangement of music from the last version but that's nothing we don't all have access to on our Computers. The changes are fresh and welcomed.

Fingers crossed the new Universal Apps model will take off and then it suddenly opens up millions of potential customers. Helps that 7 and 8(.1) will get upgraded for free.

They have been switching between the two for quite some time now. It's nice, keeps it a little more fresh.

You have to remember in an emergency people would need to be able to evacuate from the ride anywhere along the track, not just the load platform. To do this, there would likely need to be massive structural work in the ride buildings and along the track.

They unfortunately still cannot efficiently load this attraction, it can take 10 minutes at times to load one tram. The dragon is very rarely used anymore either, it used to come out during Terroriffic Nights but now that has been canned...

We are still fans of it, was fortunate to see the original run and was excited to get it back. I personally prefer the Paris version of this iteration as the moving platform is used to more of the music.
