Attractions that should NEVER leave WDW....Ever!

    1. It's A Small World 2. Carousel of Progress 3. Fantasmic! The only one that I am concerned will close in the near future is CoP. I think IASW will always be there. Fantasmic! will be there for a long time. I also think that IllumiNations will last a long time.

    MGM or AK ???

My vote is for MGM. Animal Kingdom is basically a zoo with Disney characters everywhere. I agree that MGM and AK don't have the same magic as MK and EPCOT. MGM is home to some of the best attractions at WDW: ToT, RnRC, Fantasmic!, Star Tours, Great Movie Ride, One Man's Dream, etc. AK has...

    Cinderella’s Castle Apartment

I would am very doubtful that Tink is played by a guy. I don't think that Disney would be that hard-up for someone to hang from a wire and land on a matress. It probably wouldn't matter if they did use a guy because him/her is so far above the audience that you wouldn't be able to tell unless...

    Monorail to MGM

I agree that the monorail isn't as efficient as everyone thinks. But I haven't heard of "light rail". What is it? I am assuming it is like the monorail only lighter in weigth and much more efficient. If I am wrong let me know.

    WDW Logo

I personally like the new Walt Disney World logo and the new EPCOT logo. The old WDW logo needs some work and I think that it could look really good. As for the old EPCOT logo, I don't understand the whole concept behind the symbol.

My Theory on Next US Disney Park

This message is in reply to Disneynutcase. I like your theory about a "Myths and Legends" theme park. I think that is a unique and creative idea will withstand the everchanging fads. I do have a couple of suggestions for the "Myths and Legends" park. First change the name. "Myths and...

    Why Was The Skylift Removed?

I know that one of the loading/unloading stations is still standing at the very edge of Fantasyland. I saw that there on my last trip in April 2002 with my high school marching band. I didn't know what it was. I didn't even know that Walt Disney World had a Skylift. When was it installed and...

just got back a few opinions...

Thanks hockeymom. That picture was all I needed. I think that Stitch looks cool up there. It might have been funnier if he had been standing behind the scenery in his "Godzilla" pose like he did in the movie.

just got back a few opinions...

I like the Epcot sign on SE. It does seem kind of redundant but it does look cool, especially at night. Could you post a picture of Stitch at MGM. I don't understand what you are talking about. I do like the idea of a giant Stitch eating SE, I think it would look really funny.

If you could remove ONE attraction from EACH park....

Magic Kingdom - definitely the Indy Speedway (like someone else already said, it takes up too much land and makes no sense in Tomorrowland. Why not replace it with some kind of simulator ride that uses telefortation as a basic concept) Epcot - the entire Wonders of Life pavilion Disney-MGM...

    world showcase free???

I work at Indiana Beach in Monticello, Indiana in a restaurant. Before you enter the park, however, there is a $2.00 gate admission fee. What we do at the restaurant is we give customers cards that waive the gate admission fee. Maybe Disney could do something like that to have more people eat...
