    Hotel Confusion

I've read that they have both shellfish and chicken. But also, confirming what's already been said here, that it's just so-so. More of a place you go for atmosphere.

    Hotel Confusion

Thanks for the "Walts" suggestion. I've looked up some photos, and the food looks amazing and the atmosphere, charming. So I think that's a must do. What do you all think about the California Grill? Is it like the one in WDW--that's my favorite restaurant there. And how about the Blue Lagoon?

I'm looking forward to the walk now too! Now for a followup question: Anyone have dining suggestions??

    Hotel Confusion

The New York, honestly, didn't seem that nice from the pictures. Definitely doesn't seem to be worth the price difference. And as for the advantage of DLH and being so close to the parks, it doesn't really matter with two twenty-somethings with no kids. Walking the extra few minutes doesn't...

    Hotel Confusion

Is that so!? I've never gone on for anything Disney before. But that's so good to know that it shouldn't be trusted. Why do so many people go to Disney and complain??? I'll never understand it.

    Hotel Confusion

From all of this feedback, I think I'll probably stick with my current reservations. I got nervous after reading some less than stellar (to say the least) reviews on trip advisor. Many of the people that commented there said the hotel was dirty, in poor repair, and didn't have the facilities...

    Hotel Confusion

Hi Everyone, I'm planning a trip with my fiance this April and we booked Disney's Newport Bay Club. Does anyone know anything about this hotel?? I'm having second thoughts and am wondering if I should change my reservation to the Disneyland Hotel (even though it's much more expensive)...

    GRAND FLORIDIAN SPA....choices????

The facilities are just top notch at the GF Spa. I suggest a full body sweedish massage--if you can, do the one with hot rocks. It's amazing. I felt reguvinated for days after :-)

Unfortunately, the vast majority of tourists are not like the Disney/Orlando saavy individuals on these boards.

    Newbie post with familiar question

Are you from the area? I got to the final stage for the shorter female face characters (Alice and Wendy) auditions but didn't have enough room in my schedule to actually be able to do it. The only reason I think I got that far was because I auditioned on my college campus. I go to rollins and...

    orlando area apartments

I've got a pretty large two bedroom in Winter Park. My boyfriend and I split the $800 rent. You're really looking at between 650 for a basic one bedroom to astronomical amounts for some of the more posh developments.

    Are You Kidding Me?

I work at the Magic Kingdom as a seasonal cast member and it's true that you are still technically coming toward the end of peak spring break season. I know this because they still put me on the schedule on those dates. But the crowds will not be that bad unless you hit the rides at a really...

    Computers for College

Not entirely true though. I'm not a gamer, but as far as games are concerned, you're right. But anything artsy runs better on a mac (final cut pro, photo shop etc.). And considering this computer is for academic purposes and not gaming, a Mac's the way to go. OS X is great; the next...

    Computers for College

Hey Mickeyman, I would definitely get a lap top. I go to Rollins (just down the road a bit from UCF), and got an Apple Powerbook recently. It doesn't leave my side. I bring it everywhere. So useful! I bring it to the library and with my wireless card, I can print wirelessly from the...

    Da Vinci Code

Not to mention a learning disabled man in "Forrest Gump" and an eccentric southern gentleman in "Lady Killers." He's an extremely versitile actor. I agree with you completely :-)

    September vs. October

Take it from someone living in Orlando--the crowds during the week will actually be less in october. Not to mention, the hurricane season is supposed to be bad again. There's less a chance of getting stuck with one in October since the water is cooler by then. Still hurricane season, but...
