The only reason I was hesitant at first, is because of his physical appearance. When you read Robert Langdon's description, Tom Hanks seems too old, and not as cute :lookarounTAC said:On a first impression, you might not think that Hanks would be the best choice, but did anyone think that Hanks would be a good Jim Lovell in Apollo 13?

But I'm definitely hoping for the best.
Christina said:No I do believe that Tom Hanks will be a good choice for this movie, he's a smart man who has done some unbelievable peices, including a gay man and a foriegn man.
I trust that he'll do the book some justice, because the book is simply incredible. Honestly. Pure genuis... but we'll see how it turns out.
Oh I don't doubt that.TAC said:True. But I think you would have to see how Hanks looks in makeup, how wardrobe dresses him, and how Hanks himself reads for the part.

Don't get me wrong people, I am a huge fan of Tom Hanks. In fact, I just finished watching League of their Own which is one of his better movies alongside Toy Story . I just found it odd when they first announced him to play Langdon. I'm over it though and look forward to seeing the movie and reading Dan Brown's next book.
I know that entire scene by heart :lol:TAC said:"There's no crying in baseball!"
