Hey guys,

I have a very familiar question about character auditions. Before everyone points me to threads - I've read nearly all of them, but still have a few questions.

I'm 5'8 / 5'7, 150 lbs, good bone structure (high cheekbones),brown hair, blueish eyes and have a good figure (OK, so my bf says that, but still...)

I've been to a face character audition and have gotten turned down, so I'm looking for some advice that will give me that "edge" with the audition (like, what I may be doing wrong, or am I just not face character material?)

One thing I noticed about my first audition was that intially they kept lots of people from the groups, but when they got to my number (558), Disney was only keeping 1 per 40 people. So, I'm planning on arriving at 6 am for the 9 am April 5 audition. Any other advice? Should I wear my hair a certain way? Any clothing tips?

I know the auditions are political as well as highly subjective - so any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks very much everyone!!

Are you from the area? I got to the final stage for the shorter female face characters (Alice and Wendy) auditions but didn't have enough room in my schedule to actually be able to do it. The only reason I think I got that far was because I auditioned on my college campus. I go to rollins and disney comes in once a semester and does character/dance auditions. There were only 20 of us there. They really get to see me in such a small group. If non-Rollins students are allowed to go to those auditions that may be better bet for you.

Good luck with the next audition!

Yep - from Winter Park. That's a good tip - I will try that, but usually they are pretty specific and strict with the college group. Still worth it though!
