    Coranavirus Disneyland General Discussion

I don’t mean to suggest that he WILL be recalled. I just think it’s unlikely he’ll do anything that might jeopardize the recall. Eh, I spent years working for political consulting firms and can confidently say that the recall would have significant influence over his decision. While mostly just...

    Coranavirus Disneyland General Discussion

No way Newsom would lockdown again when he has a recall coming up.

    Anyone else still like DCA?

I enjoy DCA, but it’s not a big deal to me if I don’t go. My biggest complaint with the park is it’s just... too warm. It constantly feels 10-15 degrees hotter in DCA than over at Disneyland. For the average person, it’s definitely worth going to just to ride RSR and Soarin’, IMO.

WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure to use Virtual Queue

I hate Disney vloggers so much. But speaking of Steve and Kai, I had the displeasure of actually dining next to them tonight about an hour ago, while they were live streaming. Also, Naples is by far the biggest offender of Italian food I’ve ever experienced in my life. I have literally never...

WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure to use Virtual Queue

I’m pretty ed NGL. Thought I’d at least a backup boarding group, but nope — nada. I tried both at 7 AM and 12 PM, but to no avail. I genuinely don’t understand this logic with Disney about the boarding groups. If they’re going to let people line up all the way from Hollywood to the Golden...

Avengers Campus - Reactions / Reviews

Not saying it wasn’t good; I loved the ride. But I just can’t help but roll my eyes at the people who are still heartbroken over losing ToT. And yes, if Disney can’t build a ride to the same standard of the original — it SHOULDNT BE BUILT.

Avengers Campus - Reactions / Reviews

Wait a second — are you guys suggesting that DCA’s ToT was high quality? It was the cheap version of the ride, which was absolutely put to shame by every other ToT out there. Why so many of you are so attached to the ride is beyond me. It was objectively the worst ToT.

Snow White's Scary Adventures Vs. Snow White's Enchanted Wish

My bet is Disney is slowly updating all the classic Fantasyland dark rides. They did Alice, Peter Pan, and now Snow White. To me, it only makes sense that Pinocchio and Toad would be next. That or Disney presses the nuclear button and turns Toad into indoor queueing for Peter Pan.

Snow White's Scary Adventures Vs. Snow White's Enchanted Wish

I’m grateful that the last time I rode Snow White before it closed, I got to walk through almost the entire attraction after shortly breaking down. Really got to just absorb everything. That said, after riding Enchanted Wish, I say that the new version is better. The upgrades they did to the...

    Disneyland officially reopening April 30th

Lots of people reporting that they aren’t checking IDs. Good luck to any out of staters!

    Disneyland officially reopening April 30th

That makes more sense to me. Personally, by the end of the day I’m in desperate need for the tram. I hardly sit down for a break while I’m there so my feet tend to be in major pain at the end of the day.

    Disneyland officially reopening April 30th

So can anyone confirm if they’re checking IDs?

    Disneyland officially reopening April 30th

Personally, I got my hopes up for them raising/lowering the drawbridge. It would have been the perfect way to signify re-opening, and I’m afraid this confirmed the rumor that the mechanism no longer works. (The rumor about the fencing along the drawbridge being permanently in place is incorrect)

Comfiest Rides at DL and DCA

In the other thread, I originally said the backseat of Splash. I’d like to formally rescind that statement. I think Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln is the comfiest attraction.

Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters vs Toy Story Midway Mania!

Buzz Lightyear is arguably more skill based than Midway Mania, which I’d argue is more centered around luck. Although, as a ride, Midway Mania is incredibly fun to ride as it goes to the next screen. But given that the line for Midway Mania is always egregiously long, I’d have to go with Buzz...

    Space Mountain vs Splash Mountain

Nobody’s addressed the real issue with Space Mountain. Good luck fitting in those seats if you’re over 6’3. The back seat of Splash is the comfiest ride of any attraction.

    Rocket Rods v Superstar Limo

Without a doubt, Superstar Limo. For those who were lucky enough to ride it before it’s untimely demise, got to experience Michael Eisner’s true vision for DCA. It is truly unfortunate how people just couldn’t see it for what it was: A masterpiece!

    Space Mountain vs Splash Mountain

I’m certain it’s 90% the reason why. The icing on the cake is the positive PR they get for rebranding it.

    Space Mountain vs Splash Mountain

I’m not so sure about there being no excuse for the animatronics. The animatronics are well over 45 years old, and the constant exposure to water has to be the biggest headache in the entire world. On top of that, it’s got the most animatronics out of any ride. The biggest misconception I see...
