    Wizards give smackdown to droids

NOT EVEN CLOSE, BUD! I'm not sure what all this Star Wars hype and game changing talk is all about. Universal's Potter in Orlando is still is the one to beat in the industry. 35+ acres vs 14 of highly immersive placesetting. 4 E ticketish/ super headining rides and 1 lower tiered ride...

Hey Disney, do you really have to continue to.......

.......pad your attraction count. I just can't leave this alone. I thought it might stop once Pandora opened but I guess not. You are still counting 3 attractions when it is actually one. At Animal Kingdom you list 41 attractions. You have Kilimanjaro Safaris as an attraction plus 13...

    Here's you, here's me

Here's you: You pay $25 to park your car and then $219 per person for a ONE day entry at Disney. You wait 48 minutes to get your family hotdogs at Casey's Corner only to have to stand and eat because there are no open tables....even the "standing style" tables are jam packed. After that you...

'rude' or 'ignorant'......that is the question.

Place: Trolley Car Cafe, Hollywood Studios Date: Feb 22 Principals: unknown male and me After dressing up my Starbucks coffee with cream and sugar I waited for my turn to fill a paper cup with water from the self service glass water tank which is positioned at the same prep area. Just when I...

    head-scratching quote:

"""I love Universal Orlando because unlike at Disney you can do all of the parks using up very little time."""

Canada Martin Short 360: worst film on property

I saw this version of Oh Canada for the first time on Thanksgiving.. ...and unless one pays me $50+ to watch it again or I need quick shelter from a hurricane or air raid I won't ever go back in: lousy outdated film and the narration is less entertaining than standing in line at the Dept of...

    Are you a 'waver'?

While on an attraction are you a waver? Was that you on TTA(aka "People Mover") waving at me as our trams passed by eachother? Were you waving while leaving the dock going to Tom Sawyer's Island at those still waiting for the next raft? Or maybe you're that one on the Jungle Cruise boat waving...

What is the best 'diversion' act among WDW's 4 parks?

A diversion is a secondary attraction, a lesser attraction that is commonly an act/performance open to all without traditional queuing whereby guests more often than not stumble upon while walking the parks like: China's acrobats, Main Street's Dapper Dans, Pandora's utility suit...

Over hyped Star Wars Galaxy's Edge

The expectations around this addition are out of this world. ~~~Oh I'm afraid the chatter, WDW preparations/project scope, trip plannings will not be commensurate with expectation when the guests arrive~~~ Disney is offering a "land", not a park, not even half of a park--- one single land. And...

    park hopping.......very misunderstood

Park hopping at its core demonstrates shortcomings. I find it almost funny how Disney markets "park hopping" as a desirable feature------and millions mindlessly eat it up.

WDW resort lovers who are park avoiders

Any of you out there who pursue WDW accommodations but do not tap the parks??? I'm not talking about the convention attendee demographic but more about those who plan vacations at WDW but have no desire to do the 4 main parks and 2 aquatics.

picture taking: public vs personal space

Disney Springs and parks.... What is the proper distance that a picture taker is entitled to "block" when declaring a temporary "personal space" on a pathway. What I'm getting at is there are clear cases of violation and clear cases of ethical space use by the picture taker. So what is your...

    $114 for Disney Studios

With its current attraction lineup coupled with the boarded up areas---excluding those who have money to burn---is there any sane person who would shell out $114 for a single day there? I would think very few would do such a thing. If it weren't for the AP program and hopper features at $114...

    Bastardization alert on Pirates!!

Ahoy mateys-- ye come seeking adventure and salty ol pirates eh........but find painfully executed "upgrades" instead. Has anyone else noticed the Magic Kingdom's absolutely abysmal rendition of the world famous talking skull and crossbones of Disneyland's Pirates? The Magic Kingdom added a...

    It's crowded in here

Let's see, WDW gets its own section(for obvious reasons) Disneyland Resort gets its own section Disneyland Paris Resort gets its own section But Shanghai, Tokyo and Hong Kong have to share. I guess resorts in Asia don't merit their own sections.
