I would have to agree. My entire party of 10 people back in January just thought it was an ugly-looking industrial wall. I didn't even realize it was supposed to be a village until this thread.

I'm definitely not for ripping down either building, or at least the FL one. They both fit the theme well.

I was about to mention that. I remember seeing a show a few years back that involved people getting on the roof. I don't think it would be too big a deal to get a guy out there to fix the problem. It's not half-way down the sphere, it's near the top!

Yeah, the impersonator has broader shoulders and a longer face. It's pretty obvious, but I wonder who the competition was.

D-troops says their next Bad Show involves "Disney’s latest attraction." What could have possibly happened to that beautiful entrance/queue I saw in March? :( Any information/pictures would be nice.

I pretty much agree. It seems more like an Oriental Vactation for the Imagineers, than a chance to gather details.

I won't watch for fear of tears. I really wanted to do it twice while I was there, and that Disney trip was by far my favorite. I thought I could live with seeing some of those, but, God, I love WDW.

I just read this whole thread and I feel like crying. The last time I rode JII was when I was five. I remember so much of it, and it never hit me that those memories are never to be revisited. JII imagination was a wonderful ride. I distinctly remember thinking of the ride cars as "rockets."...

I'd hate to be there on one of those days.

I did get some picutures of the lobby on page 2. Not very interesting, but it was exciting.

I believe it ofically started Apr 1st. I saw it that day and a guy from Pixar was there with the Imagineer inspection and he said that we were some of the first to see the new show. Dory came in for the last quarter of the show and acted absent minded. Crush's mouth also locked up later on.

I think it has historically only been open on weekdays.

I think it's because it is accessable to more of the family than M:S, mostly because the only fast part is the end. Everything else is the soul-less gimic. It also breaks down often, and people will keep gathring up, or crowd back in when it re-opens.
