Yes. I have no pictures but a lot of new floating ‘circles’ with cabling are being installed in the lagoon. With a focus from the bridge towards the waterfront.
I think this is going to be a noticeable upgrade.
I would wait a few months before comparing park prices. Let’s see what Universal and SeaWorld do with their annual passes now.
I also think we will see a more apples to apples comparison in prices when Universal completes Epic.
These are starting rates. It’s like other hotel stays at Disney. These rates will only be available during the slowest part of the year and on select weekdays.
Expect to pay more than the starting rates for most stays. Potentially a lot more.
Take the Aladdin ride at MK and install it in an indoor space in Morocco. Add some projection mapping to the walls while you ‘fly’ over Agrabah and you will have a packed Morocco pavilion (at a very low investment cost). This would also relieve some congestion at the MK, give more seating area...
They could still build it at the Kids Zone area in the Studios. That was the original plans which they had submitted to the City of Orlando for permits.
Universal is packing the gate only on the weekend. That is because of locals who bought the deeply discounted park pass that is good until December 24th. During the weekdays most attractions are walk on to about 20 minutes. I would actually make the case Disney is busier doing the weekday than...

If Florida opens back up the bars and throws open brick and mortor schools over the next few weeks we will look back at these types of numbers as the good old days by November. This will cause more damage to the travel industry and the state’s economy.
I hope I am very wrong but the...
While I agree that Orlando’s economy is going to take a beating from this its much more diverse than you give it credit for. It’s a major player in the air and space industry, medical industry, video game industry and has a large university structure.
I would also say that Orlando’s crime rate...
Easily 60% of the guest were not wearing face mask while walking around. Social distancing in show venues and lines was not being enforced and we even saw some employees wearing their mask as neck bands.
The Waterpark is not enforcing social distancing in the lines which is about all you can do...
I think you are right. The true depth of the economic recession will set in after the first rush of fans and passholders slow down. If the virus respikes in the fall all bets are off.
I really would like to see this park add a new raft water coaster like Mammoth at Holiday World. Maybe even give it a dark ride section like some of the family raft slides at Water World in Denver.
