Bippidy Boppidy Boutique hair style question

My daughter has long blonde wavy hair and wants to dress as Rapunzel. She wants to do Bippidy Boppity Boutique but wants to have her long Rapunzel hair (that she actually has). We are trying to explain to her that they have certain hairstyles they can do but it all involves wrapping it up in...

    Strollers with a 6 y/o

Great news because we're in the same boat. We just want to use it to walk distance like between Epcot and HS or at the end of the night when we are hustling. We know we'll look foolish cause she's so big, but we average 15 miles a day and do open to close that's just too much for a kid.

MNSSHP worth it with small children??

When our daughter was 2 she LOVED the fireworks! When she was 3 she was scared of the fireworks. When she was 5 she loved them again. So ya never know about that. However the parade is so top notch EVERYONE loves that! The ambience is totally worth it as well. I would skip the trick or...

From the OS: Gator drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon

This exactly! Wading isn't swimming. People view swimming as splashing around in deep water and swimming about not strolling along the shoreline. People don't assume they will be killed outright when a sign says No Swimming. They assume it means the water may not be clean, perhaps there are...

From the OS: Gator drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon

My wife, who is a therapist, said this morning that people do that because they are so freaked out and it gives them a sense of control over the situation.

From the OS: Gator drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon

    1. It was movie night, the 2 year old became bored so they went for a walk. 2 and 3. There is rarely a similar incident until one happens. Alligator attacks on humans happen rarely BUT alligator attacks on small prey happen in the thousands daily. In this instance the child was small prey. 4...

    Orlando Gunman Scouted WDW ...

The fact that more hasn't happened astounds me actually. We either have excellent security and investigation in this country or terrorists don't have quite the reach we thought they did. If you stop to consider all the various attacks that could happen it is incredible.

    Disney and Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh is also mentioned in The American Experience and there is a barrel marked Pittsburgh on the dock of the Riverboat in MK. There was one more we noticed on our last trip too but I can't recall. We were amazed that Pittsburgh was mentioned 5 times in Disney in some way shape or form.

    How WDW Co. spins ...

Annndddddd... this is my tipping point. We love Disney but part of that love was the magic I felt. Even though they are a company that needs to make a profit I always felt special. I always felt like Disney cared. No longer. I now feel like Disney is no longer the magic that Walt created...

i I was excited to have some Marvel in the parks. Now I am afraid.....

From what I understand Universal Orlando has the rights to the Marvel characters they currently have in the parks forever. But they now are paying licensing fees to Disney through Marvel. However, this is only for WDW. Additionally Disney can use characters that Universal has not. So Disney...

Mansion stretch room too frightening for children

My DD was 5 the first time we took her through the stretching room. We always bypassed it before just because it was intense. We didn't want to taint the whole attraction over that part of it. The thing is the intensity is the idiots who scream and yell when the lights go out, not the ride...

i I was excited to have some Marvel in the parks. Now I am afraid.....

    1. I hope so. Kind of gave me a fitful sleep last night. 2. Star Wars totally deserves a major presence. Also stays with the Hollywood movie theme. 3. It has always been a mish mash, but so much of the "Hollywood" aspect seems to be leaving. Backlot, Streets, etc. And that in itself is good...

Problem with TOT is they have to pay CBS a licensing fee. Also, kids these days don't really know what Twilight Zone is. They do know MArvel however. Same goes for Aerosmith. Same goes for most of the movies in the Great Movie Ride.

Kind of believe WDW1974. At the very least it is a strong and logical possibility...especially from a business stand point. These guys aren't here to ensure our classics stay just how we like them. They don't care what Disney was or what Walt intended. They want to turn a profit pure and...

i I was excited to have some Marvel in the parks. Now I am afraid.....

With the breaking rumor that the TOT may be getting an Avengers or Guardians re-theme it is becoming apparent as to what Disney is doing. They are trying to compete directly with Universal park for park. One thing Disney has a surplus of now that they didn't when MGM opened was acquired...
