Bippidy Boppidy Boutique hair style question

My daughter has long blonde wavy hair and wants to dress as Rapunzel. She wants to do Bippidy Boppity Boutique but wants to have her long Rapunzel hair (that she actually has). We are trying to explain to her that they have certain hairstyles they can do but it all involves wrapping it up in braids.
So my question is this: Is there anything simple they could do with long hair to just braid it in one long braid or something? So she can experience the boutique (makeup, environment etc.) without hair spraying it all up?

Of course they won't do anything you don't want them to do. I'm sure a simple braid won't be a problem being it is easy to do but I personally have no experience with requesting that. Then they will spray it with the pixie dust like all the other styles.
