Focusing on one sub sect of one group of people isn't what this speech is all about. Essentially its a "America is open for business" speech.

Here's the interesting thing, usually the Secret Service has all trashcans and mailboxes removed from an area the president will be in. They have also been known to have sewer covers tack-welded so they cannot be opened. Guaranteed the utilidoors will be off limits. They will not allow...

This is such a great honor to WDW. But it really is more than that. Think of some of the foreign guests who are going to be there. For them, this may be a trip of a lifetime just to go to WDW. But then you throw in the possibility of being able to see the PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES. WOW.

I'm sure the cars will be back stage as will his entrance. I could almost picture him walking down an empty MSUSA towards the train station and up to the podium.

From I can recall from the inauguration and a few other presidential events I've been to, security almost always includes metal detectors. For those going into the park that day, expect a LONG wait through security.

My guess: Site prep. They probably want to get the spinner out of the way so they can really get going on the castle wall.

Anyone else think they're working really hard on pathways that may not open for quite some time? I'm wondering if they may have a plan to use some of these pathways and have constructions walls up as another way out of Circusland and back into old FL? :shrug:

I can't imagine the walls will be coming back very far. If anything, the green section of wall in the below image will probably come down and a new construction wall built parallel to the pathway all the way past the mine train area, in front of the tents and up to the train station. I...
