    January refurbishments....any ideas?

In 2006 splash mountain was open in january, since then they close for about 6 weeks to clean, fix and paint. Maybe they won't need to this year. Test track did close in 2006 but has not had a major reburb in january since then. Other rides have been closed in January but they had major...

Monorail Pilot's Mother Is Suing Disney

I don't know if this has been asked or even answered but wouldn't this whole accident fall under florida's worker's compensation laws? If this happened in other states, I don't beleive that the mother would have recourse other than what is available for a scheduled injury to the son...

    checking in online

I checked in online for our trip on may 4th. It was nine days out from our arrival and they asked if I wanted to add a credit card for expenditures (which i did). I doubt that is speeds anything up, but at least they know I am a confirmed guest and they will assign my room nowing that.

    how much is too much??

As to your original question. yes, 65 days is too long. a few weeks would be ideal so you could do everything you wanted. A month and you could do everything you wanted.......twice.

    Where would you stay? (villas)

Strollers!!!!!! Either the beach club villas or boardwalk villas. Since your children are so young you won't be getting an early start to hit rope drops, so taking the stroll through epcot and getting on the monorail should be a breeze. Your main object with little ones is room size and...

    How hard is it??

You should really look at the point charts. 160 points don't go very far for two trips. Plus depending on what season you go, the point costs vary.

    Best Honeymoon Dinner?

Cinderella's royal table gave us fluted champagne glasses on our honeymoon in 2006. Odd, since they don't have champagne. Our cat broke one and in 2007 they gave us a replacement at no charge since we were on our anniversary trip.

Dining Plan- Quick Service vs. MYW Dining

If you have a party of adults only, then I don't think the quick service plan saves you any money. You pay $30 for the day on what amounts to two meals that would cost you $24 out of pocket. When you include the snack credits you probably hit $30 or a tad bit more. Most likely when using the...

    standard view at BLT?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the BLT will have a viewing area for fireworks. I thought I recall seeing a layout where there were viewing areas on top of BLT that were available for guests staying at that resort. Even if that is not the case, I think I will save my points by getting a...

    buffets

The best breakfast buffet I have ever had was at the Tusker House in Animal Kingdom. I think it's a Donald breakfast safari or something like that. Excellent selection with fresh fruit and baked goods.

    A sleeping arrangement question!

Thank you for all your replies. Our trip is may 4th. My wife believes like most of you that he will be fine in the pak-n-play. So, we will probably just go with that and if he can't sleep in it we will do something else. I like the idea of a blowup mattress and I will look into that. It...

    A sleeping arrangement question!

Hello all, I have a son who will turn 2 while at disney in may. We are staying in a one-room villa at the boardwalk. Last january, when my son was 8 months he slept in a pak-n-play that was provided in the room. We had it set up in the living room so he could watch disney channel. He...
