    Proposal Help

My vote is for the beach at the Polynesian! If she already said the beach or Disney, it's the best of both worlds! For some reason, the Poly beach seems more romantic to me than the GF beach does. You'll have more privacy there than you will being right at the castle. You can head inside...

    Cheaper Romantic Disney Night Out?

Ohana followed by fireworks on the beach at the Polynesian is always romantic! If a sit down meal is too pricey, which I know it can be, you can still have a great date night by picking up something at Captain Cooks and having a picnic on the beach while watching the fireworks. Grab a...

First time with a stroller, theft a problem?

I've used a stroller on 4 separate trips, and have never had a problem. I use a backpack as a diaper bag,(diapers, wipes, disposable change pads, sippy cups, etc) and leave it in the stroller. It's all stuff that can be replaced if it HAS to be. All of my other valuables stay with me in a...

    TV's In Queue Lines Needed

There are TV's in the queue for Disney Junior Live on Stage, and it's always helpful since the attraction is a show, and if you don't make it into the first one, it's quite a wait for the next. However, the theme of the attraction is basically TV shows, so it seems fitting there. I can't...

    Nightime water pagent Still there????

At Wilderness Lodge, we usually like to watch the Electrical Water Pageant from the boat dock where you can catch the boats to MK, FW, and Contemporary. They have cleared some trees in the past year around the lake, but the view from the beach is still not quite as good as it is from the dock...

    What's Your Favorite WDW Resort...

I can't pick just one! I've loved the Polynesian ever since my husband and I were lucky enough to honeymoon there, but we have also had so much fun with our family (and now our children) at other resorts, that I can't pick a favorite. To me it's more about the memories we've made at the resort...

Before Christmas or After the New Year?

That's a tough call! I've been to WDW at both of those times the last two years. While I LOVE Disney at Christmastime with all the decorations and holiday spirit, I personally find it easier to make the trip later in January. I guess it seems less hectic to take time away from home after the...

    Tangled Meet and Greet Rumor

Flynn is so funny and charming! I hope we will get to see him elsewhere! We didn't get the chance to meet him yet, since the line was too long each time we tried.

    ValidFill at Resorts

Welcome, Neoshinok! I've often wondered, since my first trip to Blizzard Beach in 2001, why the resorts didn't use a bar code system like the water parks. I have seen a lot of mug abuse over the years, and I'm sure Disney will implement whatever is most cost effective. Can't wait to see...

First Pre-Trip Report: Our Land and Sea Halloween Adventure

Sounds like you've got a great trip planned! I love Pop Century, but you are probably right, you might fall in love with Wilderness Lodge! It really is a resort experience in itself! One piece of advice for the cruise: I always take a smaller purse that holds just credit cards, cash...

Poly or Boardwalk for two adults?

I think you'll be happy with your decision. With your dining reservations, and late hours at The Magic Kingdom, how can you go wrong? Plus, the atmosphere at The Polynesian is great for a couple on a getaway with no kids! Have a great time!
