There used to be a nighttime water pagent Is it still there and times please.

Yes. It goes every night barring weather conditions. The times vary depending on where you watch it from. It goes around 7 Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake starting at Grand Floridian, then Poly, WL, FW, Contemporary, then MK.

I think it starts at about 9:15 at GF...I know that WL is usually 9:35pm

If you have time I would walk over to the beach at the Poly and watch it from there so you can have a perfectly centered view.

Can you walk from the Poly to the GF? Is this for the water parade or the castle fireworks??

Yes you can. Or you can hop on the Monorail (though that might take longer because it goes the opposite way).

The suggestion was for the Fireworks. They pipe in the Wishes Audio to the speakers on the beach and the beach looks right on the Castle. It is a great vantage point!

And don't ask the info desk at your resort about the EWP, or guest relations at any park but MK, because as likely as not, you'll wind up with somebody who has no clue what you're talking about.

The Electrical Water Pageant is truly Disney's Best Kept Secret (along with the campfire singalong and movie at Fort Wilderness).

The beach at the poly is the best and if you go in September and October I highly recomend seeing Hallowishes from the beach it is really cool

Completely agree! My "tradition" is to watch the MK "Fantasy In the Sky" NYE fireworks from the Poly on New Year's Eve Eve to get the wide perspective, and then on NYE see the show in the park itself (they run it on two nights, for those who don't know)

I've noticed that too, about many people I've asked for times having no clue, or saying "I don't think they are doing that tonight".

Personally, I LOVE this show and the synth music, and have seen it in all 6 locations (Poly, Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, Campground, Contemporary, and Magic Kingdom).

Even though the schedule above doesn't list it, when the MK closes at 10 PM or later, they sometimes run the full show in front of the MK at around 10:20 or 10:30 ish, depending on when the Contemporary show ends (I've noticed sometimes it's more like 10:10 or 10:15 at the Contemporary).

It always amazes me how many MK leavers keep going about their business and don't even bother to stop and watch the show. It truly is one of WDW's best kept secrets!

On nights when the MK closes at 9 PM, I like to walk to the Contemporary from MK after lingering in the park, to watch it there. This is a nice alternative to the congested queues for the monorail or boats, and then I can just hop on the monorail at the Contemporary after the pageant.

With an 8 PM close, I enjoy taking the boats to one of the other resorts first, and sometimes still catch the last show at the Contemporary. One night I saw it at the Wilderness Lodge, and the boats were timed perfectly to see it at the Campground and the Contemporary as well, for 3 on the same night! And what made this all the sweeter was the weather was around 60-65 degrees, which is my favorite, and it was so fun zipping around on those boats under the moonlight in the cool night air! :)

At Wilderness Lodge, we usually like to watch the Electrical Water Pageant from the boat dock where you can catch the boats to MK, FW, and Contemporary. They have cleared some trees in the past year around the lake, but the view from the beach is still not quite as good as it is from the dock.

You can see the fireworks from the dock at the GF also, but I agree with above, The Polynesian is the best spot to watch from!

If you want to stay at GF to see them due to time or whatever, you will be able to see fine, and also hear the music piped in, by standing anywhere near Narcoossee's and the dock.

Have a great time!

We ran into this problem in March at Wildreness Lodge. Luckily we figured it out because we were able to watch it from the beach there. What a wonderful experience.

So what is that and where do I see it?? Never heard of it before??Thanks

The Mickey Monitor is a Quarterly Passholder publication that gives the latest news and upcoming events on Disney World. It's free to passholders.

It used to include vouchers for free pins, lithographes, photopass photos and whatnot but it's been awhile since they've done that. Just another little extra that they've done away with. :(

You can be a passholder living in a different state. But is is usually only beneficial if you make atleast 2 trips a year or one long trip as they will cost about $450 for out of state guests.

I don't think they have any Mickey Monitors at the parks though. I've asked before at Guest Relations because when we first became AP holders we hadn't been receiving ours Monitors. I ended up getting a hold of someone from WDW Guest Communications who personally addressed the current issue and 2 back issues to me as well as went into my account information and did whatever magic was necessary to make sure I got the future issues.

It really doesn't have much in it, but it is nice to have some Disney in your mailbox every once in awhile.

BTW, have you checked allears.net yet for trip advice? They have a lot of good stuff on there.
