    Kids under 3

I agree with this. On the flip side, I feel for any parent carrying their 6 year old out of the park because they'll walked 10 miles and their legs are jell-o. As for taking kids under 3, I agree with @chefmickey . I took my 14 month old and she'll be almost 3 when we go again. Even at 1, she...

    Mickey's Not So Scary HP

Right on the Disney Website I've been debating on going for a while now and think I'll be going.

    Which do you prefer?

DW. Never been to DL, but I don't really have any desire. Maybe if I was a DVC owner and wanted to use points on a different experience, I would go...but other than that, not really. DW has more parks and resorts. I think all the cool deluxe resorts DW offers makes it that much more special.

Never been to the park for more than a day

Since you're going in October...be sure to visit the food and wine fest! Don't eat lunch or dinner while at Epcot and just eat your way around the world tasting new foods ...and drinks ;-) The Canada Shack never disappoints!

    Availability?

Thanks @lostpro9het . Does it change often or do you think I'm SOL?

    Availability?

I've been thinking of renting points to stay at a deluxe resort for some of my stay. I contacted the dvc rental store and they told me no resorts are available, but when I look for villas on the Disney site, I can at least see that the GF is available. Is the inventory for DVC owners different...

    September/October 2016 wdw crowds

I've gone twice in mid to late October. Perfect weather and crowds are not as bad. I like it so much, I'll be going the same time again.

Almost 180 days out! Need help nailing down a few details.

I'm kind of a nerd and try using the crowd predictors and that also sets a better itinerary in place for picking restaurants based on what park you'll be in that day. That also helps when you go to make fast pass reservations...you'll already know what park you'll be visiting.

    Can/should/will they fix Kali's splash?

Every time I go on that ride, I end up soaked head to toe. Ugh wet jean shorts are the worst.

Who Pays for Your Trips to Disney?

Haha gofundme page. My in laws took us last March and paid for everything. Every other trip, we've paid for....usually we've saved/paid in advance.

When was your last visit to WDW?

oops I put 6 months, but it was really 7. Last October for work...'I'd love to visit our Orlando office' :-)

    French Quarter or Riverside?

I've only been to POR. I Really liked the theming and liked that it was more spread out. FQ is a lot more compact and the theming is more Mardi Gras....which pushed me into wanting Riverside more.

    Christmas or Food & Wine

Think it depends on what you like more. I've been to the F&W twice already and am going a third time. I've always been on weekdays so I never thought the crowds were that bad. If you're a foodie, it's a must do! I've wanted to go for Christmas, but I always read it's busy, so I stick with October!

    Food and Wine trip

I've been in late October a few times and I don't think it was bad at all.

    MAGICAL EXPRESS QUESTION

I've been on the riverside bus....it goes to POFQ, key west and saratoga. I have another DME question. If I got a DVC villa at the poly, but am staying at shades of green for a few days, can I take the DME a couple days before I check in to the poly? I know it will take me to the poly and I'm...

Can't decide between Coronado and Port Orleans Riverside

This was my very same debate when I went in March of 2015. I ended up at POR and was very happy with that. I was told that CSR had more conventions and was sometimes more adult-ish. I loved the theme. Another bonus that made me favor POR was the boat to Disney Springs. You can resort hop if you...

    'Ohana Dinner ADR

Ugh! I'm not staying on site and I made my reservations a couple weeks ago. I tried for 4 days straight and was only able to get a 4pm...better than 9pm, seeing as we'lol have kids.
