Nintendo partnering with Universal to make attractions.

Whose the creative team behind Nintendo Land ? They've designed a beautifully themed land, but have completely failed on the attractions. Comcast need to do an internal investigation. It's been beyond misery after misery (except Hagrids) for Universal for nearly a decade now. First the...

So we have media reporting 1 billion - but posters on here say 6, 7 or 10 billion, their sources being 'assumption' and 'thin air'. Back to Donkey Kong - has there ever been an attraction that had so much possibilities, but ended up being such a horrendous damp squid ?

What's your source for 7 billion now?

Source? Google AI says 1 billion. Skift also quoting the one billion. Only outside source i found quoting different was a few fan sites quoting 3 billion, but without sources.

Nintendo partnering with Universal to make attractions.

A touch hyperbole. There is plenty of infrustructure projects going on in America costing more than Epic Universe's rumoured one billion spend. Hell Comcast just spent 350 million on two Wicked movies. So let's not get carried away. Movies are always a massive risk if they flop. A good theme...

When Mario Kart attraction was released and it was underwhelming, we were okay because we were being told Donkey Kong was the main attraction. Now this is flat (solely because corners have been cut with a horrifically short ride length) now who do we blame? What a depressing cluster up. Push...

Nintendo partnering with Universal to make attractions.

I think there are some valid points made here. In regards to just assuming Epic will be a massive hit, have been slightly reserved in see what a miss the Super Nintendo attractions are. They had so much possibilities - great IP's, on paper great looking ideas - so how did they miss an open...

Got to say the ride length for the Donkey Kong attraction is pitiful. Why cut corners on length when you are looking at an attraction that would last 30 plus years. Build an attraction properly. Just bizarre how the mindnset of these operations work.

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

Genuine question but is this still an attraction? Shameful. What next bringing back Captain EO ?

I've rode it at Osaka. It was a crushing disappointment. As the poster above says, you think with that IP it could have been so much more. I can't believe Donkey Kong will be such a short coaster. Is this confirmed? The creator of Nintendo is involved in these projects, and i'd be surprised if...

45 second coaster? Tell me you are joking.

The Mario Kart attraction i think we can all agree has been a crushing disappointment, not met with expectation judging by my own experience and reviews from others. Let's hope Donkey Kong is a really game changer.

Universal's food is still pretty bad

How hard would it be for these theme parks to get some professional michellin star chefs in, to create food. Even if they want it cheap and budget - surely they can do better? The food is just beyond horrific.

News The future of Star Tours, Star Wars Launch Bay and Star Wars shows at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Stars Tours can easily be changed to another IP. I rode Iron Man experience in Hong Kong, and it is pretty much the same as Star Tours. The ride design, however is woefully out of date and needs to be closed down.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

At the risk of scouring 333 pages, can someone give me the consensus and summary of what most of us here are thinking of this disgraceful news ?

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

It's had little effect. Yes Universe attendence fall may well have to do with Epic Universe opening soon, but are you telling if they had opened up a Harry Potter style land that attendance would have fallen? No chance. Roller coasters are cheap attractions, that only attractions a loud...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Off the shelf roller coasters have had no effect on attendance at Universal. Only a small demographic will get excited by a generic coaster, with a lick of paint and attached IP.

So we get an attraction, and lose an attraction. A complete disgrace.
