Onelittlespark just sent me notice on twitter saying the ride is now "fully operational, screams-and-all."

Just spoke with onelittlespark, who's at MK today. She said that Splash Mountain had indeed been evac'd, but hadn't heard of a fire (granted she wasn't exactly privy to high-level info as she's just there as a guest). She said ride vehicles on the mountain started cycling again about 45-50...

They're really both equal in terms of quality (both are great), length, amount of time backstage, etc. I'd suggest you simply base it on which park you'd rather learn more about.

It should be doable, I'd think. For a bit of extra insurance, I'd suggest checking in at the restaurant 15 minutes early to minimize getting a late start; and taking a look at the menus online in advance of arriving, so you know exactly what you want the second your server shows up. Doesn't...

I don't think that's part of the regular spiel unless it was included generically ("whether you're celebrating a milestone birthday, the anniversary of a very special couple, or the fact that your tests came back negative, we're glad you're here..."). Sounds like there's a way they can trigger...

Welcome to WDWMagic! :wave: In my experience, Night of Joy typically only affects the park in which it's held. I've been at WDW before during it, and didn't notice any major fluctuations... I just avoided MK on that night to avoid crowds.
