The mountain is fine. Small electrical fire, they are powering up again right now. Numerous places are saying all of frontierland and all of mk are being evaced...so not true.

Just spoke with onelittlespark, who's at MK today. She said that Splash Mountain had indeed been evac'd, but hadn't heard of a fire (granted she wasn't exactly privy to high-level info as she's just there as a guest). She said ride vehicles on the mountain started cycling again about 45-50 minutes ago (12:45, by my reckoning), but no passengers were being allowed on.

Thanks for the info, I knew she'd come through for us!

Could have been just a fire alarm (Signal 25) and the tower has to cycle out the ride. Even if it was a false alarm or just a smoke detector going off. Then they just the start ride back up and cycle again.

Typically if a fire or presumed threat (false alarm included) of a fire occurs any place on property then the initial location and others nearby are also cycled out and evacuated for safety.

Good to hear that things are back to normal.

I wonder if the Brer Rabbit aninimatronic that jumps over the hedge caught on fire. That thing is always broken.
