But... Pooh Corner was one of my favorites! It was the only place I saw the really lovely edition of The Winnie-the-Pooh book, the one I planned on buying when I went in February!

Where am I supposed to get my Pooh Stuff now? Hundred Acre Goods probably won't have a ton pf choices since it's so small.

The pieces of the puzzle are falling into place. It seems to me this means more changes are coming to WestSide than we may have imagined.

And on a sidenote they have removed most of the window panes from the RnRBC. I guess to let in the ocean breezes..............or something

I thought Summer Sands closed when Tren-D went in. I guess it just moved at that time. What's LittleMissMatched? We don't go to DtD too much & have only ventured far enough away from the Marketplace side to go to Sammy Duval's Curl a couple times for the boys.

FableMcCloud, call merchandising & order your book. I bet they can locate one for you. :animwink:

I saw that book at several locations around property, including even at MouseGear. You should be able to find it. :)

It's sad to see those buildings close down but what I find funny is there is still no mention about PI other then it'll be finished in 2013 and have a lot of new lights. All of the official news affects Marketplace and West Side.

It seems to me that this kind of confirms that DTD tenants don't want to be on the West Side or PI/HW. This move could make sense though if Disney moves the stores they're closing to the West Side. It would appease a tenant who's probably complaining that there's less traffic in their location, and help to draw more people over to the West Side. Although I suspect Disney doesn't want to operate their own stores there and isn't willing to put out the risk they expect others to do.

I think it has to do with functionality. In other words each area will have some retail, some food options and some entertainment. But each area will have a different emphasis on each. So the marketplace will be primarily for retail, HW will be primarily eateries and the West Side will emphasize entertainment. So it will still feel like there are themed 'lands' but the whole of DTD will function much better as a system (for lack of a better word). This was the primary problem it had before as it just was not user friendly. So moving retail from the West End to the Marketplace makes sense if I am right. :)
