    Insider info/ AMA on WDW's 50th Ann.

It's either they do something with the old Fire Mountain plot or it's going to be another Fantasyland expansion. (They wouldn't be showing off the Tokyo Beauty and the Beast development stuff in their parks blog if they weren't looking to bring them over stateside)

    Insider info/ AMA on WDW's 50th Ann.

can you give a hint of what the biggest, most mind-blowing project that's in the wings that hasn't been leaked/revealed yet? Or is the EPCOT revamp it and it's IP city from here on out?

Has there ever, in your time, there been serious talks about a fifth park? Is porting a DisneySea clone out of the question?

Great thread! I was just wondering what the consequences of the underwhelming response to Galaxy's Edge has been/will be to the higher ups?

News Epcot Forever to debut as interim show before full Reflections of Earth replacement

to the people talking about how RoE was long, convoluted and hard to understand. Have fun watching projection slideshows of different iterations of "Friend Like Me" at every park every night. This is what happens when the company just rests their laurels on whatever intellectual property is the...

News Epcot Forever to debut as interim show before full Reflections of Earth replacement

my main thoughts on it is that it seems they were really aiming for "temporary" for this show. Even the fireworks felt like a selection of whatever extra pyro got delivered for Happily Ever After. There was really no rhyme or reason for any of the visuals, they were just shooting fireworks over...

Poll: Should Under the Sea: Journey of The Little Mermaid go in Magic Kingdom or in DisneySea (Mermaid Lagoon land) in my Disney resort?

as an attraction on its own, I think The Little Mermaid dark ride works better in a Magic Kingdom style park than it would as part of Mermaid Lagoon. A lot of the visual storytelling in the ride are already incorporated at a grander scale into the "Port" and a ride abbreviating everything there...

    Evilgidgit's Flicks Fixer-Upper Thread

That's true, though I did think that putting "If I Can't Love Her" in where it originally is would sort of disrupt the pacing of the movie with the whole sequence from Be Our Guest until the Beast fights the wolves being told from Belle's point of view. Interjecting it with a big Beast-centric...

    Evilgidgit's Flicks Fixer-Upper Thread

I've had a version of a live action Beauty and the Beast in my head for quite a while myself. It would hew more closely to the original and would involve the Jim Henson company using puppets and animatronics for The Beast and the enchanted objects as opposed to extensive CGI. Story-wise it...

    A Modern Day Disneyland

The next phase is probably going to be Arendelle but I'm also toying with bringing in "The Forbidden Mountain" and creating a subland around it. Though that might have to involve its own story that combines several Disney properties into an Avengers-esque experience. Let's just say that Merlin...

    A Modern Day Disneyland

Yeah! The Castle Gardens section could also be a good spot for meet and greets with Princesses that don't have a permanent attraction area. And I would love to explore some more interactive elements for each land. Like Adventureland's could stem from The Wilderness Explorers from Up but...

    A Modern Day Disneyland

So I haven't really had time to work on original concept art but here's a quick overview of Fantasyland. Fantasyland -so the main mantra for this park is generally making it more immersive and a celebration of all that Disney company is known for today. As such, Fantasyland will be focused on...

    A Modern Day Disneyland

Yeah, I'm toying with a multi-year phase 2 which would include Arendelle, Fire Mountain and a Space Port (that would include Smuggler's Run; Guardians of the Galaxy and Avatar Flight of Passage)

Are We Getting A 50th Nighttime Show for MK?

I probably won't mind that then, even Disneyland's Remember Dreams Come True was basically Wishes with Disneyland-specific scenes instead of the animated movies. All I really want is for WDW to port over the moat fountains from overseas, because they look awesome and are so kinetic.

Are We Getting A 50th Nighttime Show for MK?

The youtube channel Mickey Views just said that we're probably not getting a new nighttime spectucalr for the 50th because of how well received "Happily Ever After" was. Is this true!? If so I'm hugely disappointed since I was really hoping they would add the castle moat fountains from Paris and...

    A Modern Day Disneyland

I've been thinking lately that so much of the Walt Disney Company and modern technology is so different and advanced now that it would be interesting to think up what a truly modern day new Magic Kingdom style park would look like. Not necessarily something that has to be completely...

Project Stardust - Walt Disney World

I feel like with the amount of crowds they have, The Magic Kingdom has already been 'stardusted' up significantly over the years to deal with modern day congestion and traffic at the parks, the most prime example being the renovated hub from a little while back. A lot of the more notorious crowd...

Animal Kingdom Expansion - Studio Ghibli and Zootopia

I love this, though I feel like Ghibli is a great enough theme that it can anchor its own park at WDW. That or each of the individual films can become their own attractions distributed throughout the parks. (I maintain that Kiki's Delivery Service would be a great ride for Fantasyland) sad news...
