I've been to DSP and I found the Hollywood sign there to be so tacky….actually I found the entire park to be quite tacky. It looks fake….we aren't talking movie-set-fake….we're talking "we tried to make it look like hollywood, but failed" fake. #budgetcuts

Are they doing demolition during park hours or only at night? Wasn't sure if the demolition of the golden spiral thingy beneath the hat started last night and stopped or is on-going since this morning...

Pretty soon the hat will join Yester World as part of Yester World's new hub development.

As long as the main hat structure is gone first, then I'm a happy camper. Walls up with them building a new stage, won't be nearly as much an eyesore as a giant hat blocking the Chinese Theatre.

Yes, that's because that is the story that the streets of Hollywood are part of the Hollywood of old, so that logo works for that particular part of the story for within the park, but the Earful Tower is the symbol of the entire park.

Not true at all. It's fake. I've had this confirmed from CM's before and when asking an imagineer I dined with.
