Looks more like the centerpiece for a life size, Disney themed version of Candy Land.
Yes, indeed. And it was glorious. Of course, if they had left it up for 13 years, like the BAH, I'd have wanted to burn it down myself. I think it stayed for about 15 months or so.

So about the box around Partners....
Will it still be there in late April? I've never been to a morning EMH, so I wanted to get a video or photo of the morning rush of crowds at opening from behind the Partners statue.

Maybe. Just stating the facts.

I understand. :) My kid has never worked in the parks but has been called into the parks along with other places when things go astray. A couple years ago a MK Halloween party got ugly due to severe weather. It is beyond amazing what guests will stand in a lighting storm outside in a long queue to rag at Guest Relations. Almost 3 years ago all the power went out at the TTC and no matter how those CMs tried to redirect guests to Epcot to purchase tickets where they were well man'd with CMs guests still took the boat to the MK and were upset at the few windows for guest relations. Duh.

Frontline CMs take the brunt but ultimately those beyond can filter through the silly & unreasonable to ligament issues. That gets lost in Facts and Statistics.

Agree with you completely on that point. I think that the look of this hub project is spot on for that part of the park. We are going on a short trip in March so at least by that time the current part that they have been laboring on should be completed by then.

Same here. I'm eager to see it.
I'm glad they saved the shrub dragon on the east bank near Tomorrowland! :D
Yeah, that thing is a trooper. It's nice that he'll be a fixture of BOTH MK hubs.

Looking beautiful!!!(if you can look past the construction)

I'm excited to see the completed parts in April. I don't remember seeing fountains in the concept art. Water features always make me extra excited :) Hope Walt & Mickey will be unboxed this spring. Or maybe at least a clear box put over top.

And to chime in on the Castle Cake.....I LOVED it!!! It was fun and extremely detailed. Even when I was younger I was able to appreciate how cool it looked up close. Again, was only temporary. I have a lot of amazing memories from the 25th Anniversary.

One thing bothers me... does demolishing the red concrete take so much time?
I think you're asking if this will take much time? If so...

Disney can pull up and lay down new pavement faster than anyone else on earth. They have it down pat. But, if there are other elements replacing the pavement is hinged upon it can be slowed down. For example, if they're laying pvc/wires under the pavement for new light installation, or the glow with the show bit.

The hub is also a large area, so it won't seem to go as fast as other smaller areas they've already done.
