Monorail Lime finally out of shop — Blue deltas are back!

I believe "delta" in this context is in the sense of "difference," not shape. So you could have two trains with the same stripe color but different deltas to distinguish them. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong....

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

I think you missed the joke. "Whats" is missing the same apostrophe.

Third parking garage coming to Disney Springs

Well, the original plan was to park once at the TTC and then use Disney transport from there out. Also, though, I don't think anyone can argue that a trip to WDW doesn't involve enough walking. :)

News Space 220 Restaurant dining experience at Epcot's Future World

The entrance to the corporate lounge was on the ground level on the right side; you may remember seeing it there.

Toy Story Land expansion announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

I know what you mean. Every time I come back to World Showcase at night I am surprised by how dark it is (even before the "reduced lighting around the World Showcase Lagoon" at showtime) and how much that contributes to the atmosphere.

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

In earlier plans, there was an upper-level path (think of the Peoplemover over Tomorrowland) traversed by Banthas you could ride. A gentle C-ticket kind of ride that would have really added some atmosphere to the land. From what people have said, Team Disney Orlando balked at the cost, and since...

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

That was a prediction I made in a previous post. Disney has described the transition from resort to park as "seamless," which to my mind rules out any kind of walkway.

Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

What are you saying? Do you really think UoE in its various incarnations is a fair test of how guests might enjoy a dinosaur "safari"? I think most people who rode UoE did so to see the dinos, don't you? The fact that repeat riders would sit though multiple screenings of the filmed sections to...

Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

I agree. I've always thought they should have a ride that was the equivalent of the Kilimanjaro Safari but with dinosaurs. Not just because it would be non-scary for the younger set, but also just to allow you to really see some dinosaurs, instead of just getting some fleeting impressions.

News Space 220 Restaurant dining experience at Epcot's Future World

I think most of us who remember seeing the diners in Sea Castle wished we could be among them.

News Exploratory geotechnical borings for new Epcot retention pond suggest new projects are in the works

The ride got a refresh when it got Siemens as a new sponsor. Which is all well and good, but it's unfortunate that most of the changes they chose lowered the experience.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

For the record, I am one of those people. I thought the original version of UoE was a fine attraction, better than the Ellen revamp. The Radok preshow was wonderfully kinetic, and the animated film in Theater 1 was dramatic. The glaring weakness was the film in Theater 2, "oil shale, the rock...

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Wait a minute...when I was at Uni Hollywood circa 1990-91, the tram tour had both the subway earthquake (on the lower level) and a Cylon attack (on the road down from the upper level). This was well after anyone cared about the original Battlestar Galactica and well before anyone thought of the...

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

It seemed pretty clear from how the ATATs were build that they weren't going to be animated (despite Disney putting out a video implying movement). But geez, I was sure I'd heard there would be AAs in this attraction. Was I imagining that?

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

No, I don't think you're alone in that opinion. Spider-man does a much better job of integrating physical sets with the screens. I find Transformers to be Body Wars and Spider-Man to be Star Tours. Same basic attraction, but one is executed much better than the other.

News American Adventure Refurb, New Projectors and Ending Video

Listening to them talk about the new score, you see the impossible task they have set for themselves. On the one hand, they want something that is timeless, that won't be stamped with today's date. On the other hand, they want something that is contemporary, that speaks to where music is now...

News Swan and Dolphin Tower Expansion - The Walt Disney World Swan Reserve

That is my understanding. Tishman was granted the option to build in Lake Buena Vista as part of their contract to oversee construction of EPCOT Center. By the time Tishman tried to exercise that option, Eisner was on board, who wasn't happy with the hotels' design or location. Lawsuit filed. In...

Toy Story Land expansion announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Look, we all make mistakes, but you can't call using the word "three" when you meant "four" a typo. :) If we allow that, there would be no end of it. "When I called you a jerk, that was a typo. I thought I was typing 'fine fellow.'"
