    Yes, it is like the monorail at WDW, but covers a smaller area. You can take it to/from the Downtown Disney (believe DD is connected to the Disneyland Hotel) to Tomorrowland. Here is a link to the Disneyland site maps, to give you a better idea...

    I absolutely agree!! Pirates of the Caribbean is better at DL. I also liked the Fantasmic show at DL better than WDW. :)

    disneygal1967 - I'm from Alberta too!! whereabouts are you? The Christmas atmosphere at WDW is absolutely wonderful, you will have a great time! Be sure to take time to enjoy how the park is decorated. :)

    I know they don't offer you a choice once you get there, but for some reason I seem to recall reading or hearing somewhere that you could make a special request, I will go thru my trip notes and see if I still have something on it. The ice cream they serve is very rich, definitely not low fat...

    We went there this summer, it was terrific!! We did have a PS, but there really wasn't very many people there. The sundaes are great and the characters are a riot (Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale) , we had a blast! Highly recommend it. :sohappy:

    well, in 1988 they had the whole "Mickey's Birthdayland" area and a pretty big celebration, that I believe went on for awhile. I haven't heard of anything for this year, though I'm sure someone on the boards here will probably have some good info. :)

    Much the same as yours, with the turkey dinners, etc., though I think yours is a bigger celebration than ours, since it's more of the beginning of the year end holiday season, where ours is so much earlier. (I'm not really sure why ours is in October, guessing maybe since our harvest is earlier...
