Is there anything that is better at dl that is at both dl and wdw. Space, splash, pirates, haunted mansion.

Well, I think they are all better at Disneyland. (You should go to Mouseinfop.com or Laughingplace.com and you can see the new Winnie the Pooh ride coming at DL. It's Pretty cool.)

I just like DL better than WDW because it feels more cozy than DL. They also have rides that WDW don't have. Pirates at DL is MUCH better than the one at WDW. Haunted MAnsion is aso better at DL. Space Mounatain is also better I think because it is longer. Just my 2 cents.

Fantasyland is much better (IMO) at DL than WDW. Along with peter pan and snow white, it still has Mr. Toad, Alice in Wonderland, and Pinoccio. plus, its a small world has the cool, huge building and clock, opposed to the small "tent" in MK.

Autopia in Tomorrowland is supposed to be good, but the rest of Tomorrowland isn't very original. Although it does have Star Tours and HISTA. Indiana Jones in Adventureland is great, possibly my favorite in DL (at least from what I can remember)

Fantasmic is supposed to be cooler at DL than MGM, because it takes place in Frontierland using the Rivers of America and the actual Mark Twain Steamboat and the Columbia ship.

If you are going somewhere in Oct-Dec, the Haunted Mansion has the holiday makeover, which looks really cool.

Okay first of all ... I'm confused when you say that Tomorrowland isn't original. Just because the rides are also at WDW does not make it not original because you have to think of who copied who (and I don't have the info on that in front of me right now).

Lets see.. things that WDW doesn't have at Disneyland... Matterhorn (amazing), Indiana Jones ride (fabulous), Storybookland (which is also very amazing), Mr. Toad (great), Alice (great), Pinnochio (great).

Also Fantasmic! here is better IMO then at WDW even if you DO have to sit on the floor lol. (Many people agree with this). Believe there is Magic in the Stars (the fireworks show) is better at DL. Pirates is MUCH better as is Space Mountain.

But then again I have to use the precursor that I am FROM California and even though I worked at WDW DL is my home park. :) :)

Also at DCA they have Screamin' (which is good) and Soarin' (which is absolutely amazing). Grizzly River Run is MUCH better than Kali. *thinks* I'm trying to remember what I forgot but I can't at the moment.. OHHHHH DEP is fabulous and it is at DCA now lol.

Anyways that is just my opinion :)

Indiana Jones is always welcome :D

Matterhorn ONLY IF they fix to the ride vehciles so it's not tandum like at DL.

Also, I like all the lands better at DL other than Tomorrowland. I think the WDW is better because it's less gold and rocky and more metalic and neon.

Never MET Maynard but once when Ray and I went to the park we did see him.

Yeah I was there on Friday. We spent most of the day in DCA though. All but one of the group I was with had never been to DCA before.

Well, I think Space Mountain was at WDW first, but the one at DL is better. One good thing about making a copy of a ride at another park is they know how to do things different before they start to make them better.
But DL's Tomorrowland lacks a peoplemover, a CoP, a Timekeeper, an Alien Encounter, and a Buzz Lightyear. As for originality, HISTA and Star Tours both originated at WDW. I'm not saying I don't like the rides, I just think some of them don't really fit in as well together in Tomorrowland as the attractions at MK do. With Innoventions and that NASA thing, I just think Tomorrowland doesn't know if it is concentrating on a serious idea of the future (like Epcot), or a more science fiction, HG Wells type future (like MK's Tomorrowland).

(If you are interested, I am doing a synopsis of my idea for an updated DL tomorrowland in the Imagineering section. My suggestion was to make Tomorrowland at DL more like Epcot, with more focus on our possible future and such, since DL doesn't have an Epcot)

But I still give it credit for Autopia, as it looks a lot better than the Speedway at MK!

EDIT: oh, I almost forgot, DL's tomorrowland has the monorail, wich is really cool. I think it goes right by Autopia and the Railroad, so once in a while all 3 modes of transportation coudl be going by eachother, which makes for a great scene!

And I almost forgot the BEST thing DL has that's better than MK's: Toontown! DL's Toontown is much better (and larger) than MK's, plus, it has Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin.

Star Tours originoated in DL along with CoP. Also, HISTA includes a new preshow that dumps the "True Colors" thing and makes it more funny.

I did not know that ST was in DL first! Thanks for correcting me.

The HISTA pre show thing sounds interesting, is it a different song/ad for Kodak (mabey kodak doesn't sponsor it at DL...), or do they just have the part of the pre show where Nigel Channing gives an overview of the Awards show? Because WDW has that, too.

Isn't the current CoP at WDW originally from DL? I mean, the actual animatronics used now? I know the very first CoP went to DL first, but I think one of the updated versions went to WDW after a while.

HISTA's preshow has TV's showing "WNN" news coverage of the backstage events. Of course, everything goes wrong, and Nigel is made to defent the institute.

Also, yes CoP orginated in DL, then moved to WDW.

It's the same ride system at Dinosaur at DAK but in my opinion the theming is ten times better. It really is amazing at DL. I love Indy.. it's one of my favorite rides at the parks. That, Jungle Cruise, Storybookland and Soarin are my favorite rides to do at DL and DCA.

The ride and the que really merge on this ride. You accidentaly look into the eyes of Mara (BAD idea) and then you are sent down the path of danger. You zip past statchuse of snakes and lightning, then you see Indy. Then you see the infamous skull with the neat flaming eye. You go past some skellitons, over a rickity bridge, past a huge snake, past lava, snakes, and rats, and finally untill you hit the big ball.

I absolutely agree!!

Pirates of the Caribbean is better at DL. I also liked the Fantasmic show at DL better than WDW.
