I remember the year we had 2 Thanksgivings! My parents came to visit us in Toronto, then we went home in November. We all got to watch the Eaton's parade that year...it was within walking distance of our apartment. :)

In spite of a hockey tournament over the ENTIRE weekend, we still managed to pull off a Thanksgiving Day dinner!!

Much the same as yours, with the turkey dinners, etc., though I think yours is a bigger celebration than ours, since it's more of the beginning of the year end holiday season, where ours is so much earlier. (I'm not really sure why ours is in October, guessing maybe since our harvest is earlier here), guess it's something I've never really looked into. shame on me :eek: !
