Why would someone make this their first post? Anyone else with me on simply asking for the thread to be closed to save us from yet another downward spiral?
Perhaps that is true. However, my memory of CTX was of it being painfully dark throughout the entire thing... almost as if the effects were screwed up for the ride.... all of which was changed when I returned for the Dinosaur version.
1) Why spend money opening a ride just to have to spend more money extending the ride later? Money could have been saved making the long version first.
2) It's too convenient that Kali, which is old now, was supposed to be part of an attraction that has just recently come along.
I have to say I was so painfully underwhelmed by CTX when I first rode it. Nothing seemed to happen. Then I returned a year later when it was Dinosaur, and it became a favorite. My father agrees.
Everyone who has been on the tower knows that the drops are never to long before you go springing back up. Never long enough to test little games. But what's more, it's extremely inconsiderate and dangerous to be letting objects fly around the drop shaft.
I feel so neglected, having been left off the initial list. See what happens when I stay away from these boards. I lose my place in line for hell.
I'll trade some-one a first born child for a hell fast-pass!
Not to challenge the word of the master account, but there have been numerous posts saying that they are indeed monitored. I'd like to get the official word from someone working the attraction since there has been so much contradiction.
Finished up just yesterday afternoon, actually. So, we'll be neighbors until Wednesday. Then I move down to midtown where Hairspray will be my new neighbor.
As for the photos, looks like more than a foot, fortunately.
I think that response by Roy is further proof that he is not really concerned about the company, but just out to create some noise since he's so bitter.
How close does the capsule screen and everything come in during the ride?
I had a dream last night that I was basically pinned underneath it all and freaked out.
For a second there I was excited that the main disney.com site got an overhaul. Anyone else HATE everything about the site. I mean, those horrid 'blips' when you move over a link!! Ahh!!!
