Hey everybody, I am going to be taking the backstage magic tour tomorrow. If there are any nagging questions (that you can't find on another thread) you have to just respond to this thread with them. I will ask the tour guide as many questions as I can copy down tomorow morning before I leave. OK , cool.( I will probly limit the number of questions I ask to about 10, so as to not be annoying).

I know that the Haunted Mansion is not in the actual Mansion, it is in a big white building behind it. What exactly is inside the actual Mansion part of the Haunted Mansion ( what's in the Big brick building we see ) ?

Please give a nice review. I have been thinking of taking a tour, and I was leaning towards Backstage Magic.

I can answer that. It's the first room you walk in to and the two streching rooms. Everything else is beyond the building.

Anyway, I would like to know how exactly omnimovers work. I know that there can't be very long of level segments but I want to know why.

When are they going to replace Country Bear Jamboree with a good attraction?

Seriously, ask if the Country Bears have always been hydraulically operated or were they once pneumatically operated (in the early days).

Just a note. "Questions" is a rather uninformative subject heading. I just came here to see what you could have possibly ment. Just FYI.:animwink:

No-one lost a finger on space mountain

Had no clue about the holiday haunted mansion

ANd always hydrolically

ALso DIsney can't do anything with Harry Potter because they don't own any rights to it

Yensidtlaw was right about Mansion. Nothing in the facade building but the foyer and stretch rooms.

Animatronics don't use air much. Its only used for simple open-close or up-down movements...like eyelids.

Do you recommend the tour?

I HIGHLY recommend this tour. It was long, but VERY informative.

As for some of the questions on here, I think they may be a bit too technical. The tour guides I've had (on 3 tours) would not know a nut from a bolt. They would most likely NOT know how an omnimover works, etc.

I've taken BM, KtK and Steam Trains, each twice. PM me if you'd like a personal review.

Actually, Disney does own the ride rights.

I want to see proof of this....a few ppl on this board keep claiming it, but nowhere have I seen any real evidence.

Please tell us where you found that...

It was long believed that Disney had the rights, but there's no proof of it anywhere. Unless it wasn't publically announced, Disney doesn't own the rights... though some things make me think that it is a "secret deal."

Having rights to such a popular franchise such as Harry Potter would be considered an asset. I believe all public companies must disclose their assets. I would think that if Disney had such an asset, they would have made it public, as it would made them more valuable. (Also, they sent out a press release when they purchased the rights to air the movies on ABC)
