Thanks! They did say he could go.. Just take it easy and pay attention to if he needs to take a break. I guess I am just a natural worrier :) we will still have a blast walking at a snail's pace :)

Thanks. He is normally in really good health so the walking wouldn't have been a problem before now. I have to work more on getting him to rent a scooter. It will be interesting with our 2 1/2 year old in a stroller and the DH in a scooter. :)

This was so funny! My DH and I really got a laugh out of it!! I agree with the scooter rental but I doubt that he will go for that...going to tough it out I guess! :(

I am terrified that he will make matters worse by walking around. I would think that riding rides will only make it progress further. He is in clear pain, but calls it only "discomfort". :(.

Sooo- last night my DH went to the doctor with excruciating pain. Come to find out he might have a hernia. Nothing to require surgery (yet) but still inconvenient. We leave on Sunday... Anybody else go to the parks with an injury like this? :(

It has been so long since I have seen this and want my 2 1/2 year old to experience it when we go next week. What is the best viewing place and how early should we be there to save our spot? I would like to sit where we can leave relatively quickly because our flight leaves early the next day...

Wish my husband was more like you! I just asked him to buy some new shorts to take on the trip because most were ruined by painting or doing car projects, etc. He said to me, "why? These shorts look good!" Ugh. Only one stain instead of five :) Needless to say, in five days, he will be packing...
