It has been so long since I have seen this and want my 2 1/2 year old to experience it when we go next week. What is the best viewing place and how early should we be there to save our spot? I would like to sit where we can leave relatively quickly because our flight leaves early the next day and we want to head to bed. Thanks all!!!!

The most ideal place is from the 2nd floor balcony of the train station, but you will need to stake out that area more than an hour in advance. I have always liked viewing it from the Liberty Square/Frontier land area. Most people flock to the hub and Main St and it gets quite crowded early on. I would look to get in place at least 30-45 minutes before parade time.

Once again Master Yoda is spot on with his analysis!

It looks like any day that has Electrical parade next week at 9:00 has a closing of 11:00PM with a Wishes at 10:00PM and another Electrical parade at 11:00PM, so you won't have a mass exodus after the 9:00 parade, and it shouldn't be too bad trying to get out of MK.

We usually get a spot on Main Street, just a tradition but on our last trip we were too busy on rides to get a good spot. So we went to Frontierland. We got a front rope spot and it was not crowded at all. So I definitely concur with Master Yoda!!!!

If you want to get out of there quickly, then you need to be near the exit to avoid navigating the mass of people on Main Street.

Unless you are staying close(like a walk to CR), I wouldn't leave right after it as most people do that and the buses get really crowded and you will wait long. You're better off waiting that time in the MK. Buses run quickly at the end of the evening but with a mass of people exiting, it gets tight.

If you are watching the 9:00 Show, Main Street and The Hub will start filling to the brim at about 7:30-7:45, You can probably get spots in Town Square and Frontierland until around 8:30.

For the 11:00 Show, you can probably get decent spots on Main Street and the Hub until about 10:50, And Usually Town Square and Frontierland are completely empty.

*Note: This refers to average days, obviously if you go on Christmas it would be a different story, though the later show would still be significantly less crowded.

If you can get near the barbershop, it is neat the see them guide the floats out and the charecters are performing on the floats back there since they are across the "yellow line".
