The Kiss

I have heard that its a great experience to stay after and watch "the kiss". Can anyone elaborate on this? When does it take place and where at in the Magic Knigdom?

We always stay for " the kiss", it makes for a nice ending for the day at MK. Any other kisses I try to get as many throughout the day that I can collect.

We always stay for it. Usually happens 1-2 times a night after the Park closes it seems. Such a magical way to end your day at the MK...especially when the Park has emptied out and you kind of feel they're doing it just for you.

Totally worth it if you have never seen it. I am quite surprised how many folks I meet in the parks that are not aware of the Kiss Goodnight.

I have been there a couple times when the castle went to sleep. I wasn't hanging around for that, but I was there when it happened.

It's nice that they do it, but I wouldn't lose sleep to see it. The film version leaves nothing out.

Right in front of the castle. Pick a bench and enjoy....not too many people around by then.

I tried waiting for it after a X mas party last December and nothing happened. I waited as long as I could, about 50-55mn after closing and they had a heard of cast members walking down Main St clearing out the park so I had to leave. I'll try again on our next trip.

Anywhere you can see the castle. The park has emptied out by that time. Just a few shoppers left. You won't have a problem seeing the castle dim if you're anywhere around the hub or Main Street.

It should feel that way because they are doing it just for you. It's a nice way to say...get the hell out...we would like to get home to our families and get some sleep. We're just waiting for you to leave. We have to clean this place up and get it ready for tomorrow...good night...see ya...bon voyage...so long...sleep tight. What do you mean they haven't left yet. Go home...nothing to see here! Ba-Bye now!

Not only this, but I love the MK at night. I just sit and think how lucky I am to be there and how loving Disney is a great gift. I'm usually by myself, nobody around. Almost always tears appear. The MK and WDW in general is a special place and I'm very lucky to go on a regular basis.
